The parking lot is small so you may need to park on the side of the road. Enter the front doors and head to the back left of the store to order your food. Proceed outside to pick up your food and dine under the covered roof area or on the lawn.

Elk and venison burgers both tasted clean and not gamey. Simple and delicious! There were locals dining there too so it’s not just a tourist destination. The shop has a lot of cool things you can buy for yourself or as gifts.

Apparels & food is great. My favorite is the elk burger. I wish they could bring back the saspirilla bottled drink. Use to always pick up one since 1981 as one of our stops cruising to Kanaio.
