Cool little American coffee spot. Great if you like your sweet, sugary coffee and tea drinks. While the price is definitely steep compared to options at home, this is in a luxury shopping village, so par for the course. I ordered the Hawaiian Honey Latte. It was nice and sweet with a hint of coffee. Definitely great if you like your sugary coffee drinks.
They also had a bunch of fun souvenirs - coffee mugs, t shirts with cute dog drawings and some fun coffee gifts.

I recently visited Island Vintage Coffee and had an exceptional experience. For my first açaí bowl, I chose the Waialua Moana Bowl, and it was a perfect introduction to the world of açaí. The combination of Wailua dark chocolate, Big Island cacao nibs, house-made coconut peanut butter, local banana, strawberry, and seasonal berries created a harmonious blend of flavors and textures. Despite not being a big fan of peanut butter, their house-made version was a delightful surprise. Alongside the bowl, I enjoyed a cup of their gourmet 100% Kona coffee, which was rich and aromatic. The inviting atmosphere and friendly staff made the visit even more enjoyable. I highly recommend Island Vintage Coffee and look forward to returning soon

Ordered coffee here everyday on the trip. They have classic options as well as the flavored/blended/sugary stuff making it a good option for most ppl.

I got the Hawaiian Honey Latte half sweet every time. It was consistent and tasted. Would recommend.

Disclaimer: I have no idea what their food is like. This review is just for the coffee.

This place needs a reboot. The staff had no idea what was on their menu. They kept screwing up orders. The music overhead was loud and profane. The menu wasn’t easy to see or located by where you pay. Basic questions couldn’t be answered by the staff. The windows were covered in plastic. Supplies randomly clutter the front of house area. Terrible experience. The only redeemable thing: Açaí bowls were good though. Train your people. Clean up your operation.

One of the most delicious Açai bowls I’ve had. Purchased the Huapia Moana açai bowl and soOo decadent!! Loved how they put the granola in layers so as to enjoy it every bite. Not really a sit down place so I walked to the beach with it and got many stares along the way. It was a work of art with the orchid flower on top too. Would have gotten it again but thanks to the failing CAD it worked out to be over $26 only downside but def worth the occasional treat.

I love this incredible place that offers a wide variety of delicious options, including lava mocha with oat milk and all kinds of açaí bowls. Everything is fresh and delicious here. You can try anything you want and be sure it will taste amazing 😋🌺

I've been to this island vintage coffee in whalers village many times, in the summer/ winter and these guys simply just NEVER MISS A BEAT. I've never had a bad coffee. Never had bad service.
Always quick and easy! I tried a açaí bowl from them for the first time and it was the biggest game changer!!! The ones who are leaving comments saying "it's the best they ever had", I'm here to tell you ITS THE BEST IVE EVER HAD!!! No lie!! I ordered the likiokai açaí bowl. I will never get another one besides the islands. The states don't even compare to the taste. Maui plant vintage coffee ...They know what they are doing, and they do it GREAT. EVERY-TIME!

I'm sure the place has its days. But I wouldn't rely on the bad comments. Give them a try or two. If you don't like what they gave ya, just kindly ask them to remake it. These guys work hard!

Anywho, I LOVE island vintage coffee and I would 110% rather support local than Starbucks. So thanks for being ontop of it and giving me good coffee! Mahalo!

What a wonderful refreshing treat. You can get a shaved ice here in whalers, village downstairs. Highly recommend it.If you're hot and do you want something refreshing. The service was awesome and the mango and pineapple shaved ice was delicious.
