This has been an amazing experience in general, I can't wait to go back there on my next trip to Big Island, Hawaii! Let me start!!
The bee farm is located in a beautiful area, the view is incredibly beautiful, we got to the farm, parked the car and immediately Barbara come out to welcome us, very friendly and happy to assist us.
She brought some special hats to protect us in case of any incident, very professional.
The most beautiful, magical adventure begins here: with the bees and Barbara lol. She was amazing. She gave us an explanation of how the bees make the honey 🍯 in the short term, I was amazed about how much knowledge she has about bees and the loving relationship between her and the bees.
Afterward, the tasting tour!! She brought fruit, bread, cheese and nuts !! She gave us an amazing recommendation about what kind of honey to use with each fruit, bread, nuts, and cheese, I was fascinated with her knowledge!! All 100% organic made by bees living in excellent conditions ( in their own little paradise, i will say )with Barbara !!! I ended up with a bunch of honey for my family and me!!
What an amazing experience!! Oh, and I have to mention the other wax products she and her wonderful bees have to offer, all authentic, organic, from bees with love !! Barbara, you're an amazing human being!! You treated us like a family, I can't wait to see you and your wonderful bees and have your unique and delicious honey again !!

I've been purchasing products from several Apiaries here on the Big Island for over 30 years, and once a freind shared with me Pualani Bee Farm, I've not been to any others.
I regularly buy honey, and their pollen is the most flavorful I've ever tasted.

Barbara is an expert and the honeys I sampled were amazing. I did teach her that bees stay dry when it’s raining by… wearing little yellow jackets.

We had our family trip in Pahoa staying at an AirBnb and during one of our hikes, we walked past a sign for the Pualani Bee Honey so we decided to come back with our kids. She was a few houses down from us and welcomed the kids to check out how she makes the honey. Both our kids were firing off questions (10/11 yr old) and Barbara took the time to answer questions while letting us taste test each sample. The kids had a blast and both became new fans of honey, not only for the amazing taste but a new found appreciation for how it's harvested. My son went home to read up on honey farms. We ended up having 3 bottles shipped home since only had carry-on bags. Will post some photos later but wanted to write this review while it's all fresh in our heads! Worth a visit for sure if you are in the area 🙂

Incredible honeys! Barbara took the time to let us sample all of her amazing honeys when we stumbled in on a Sunday afternoon despite not being open. She also taught us a lot about the honey process as well. Highly recommended for anyone in the area.

The best honey ever! Wonderful taste (I tried 'Ohi'a Lehua and Tropical Wildflower, both Sommer 2020). I have to stop myself from eating it by the spoonful straight from the jar.
