We stopped in to pick up some pineapples to bring home and ended up ordering lunch. This was a nice surprise because I didn't realize the store served food!

The food was great. I got their special today, which was a Hawaiian Cuban with tortilla soup and some flan. The sandwich tasted great and didn't skimp on any ingredients, the tortilla soup is loaded and delicious, and the flan reminded me how great the dish can be. The cooks making these are very proud of their dishes and incorporate family recipes- very cool!

I wish I had found this place earlier on my trip. Seems like the best discoveries happen on the last day.

Support local business!!! We were greet by the kindest staff here. She offered Gelato samples. I loooove the pineapple Gelato. We were headed to the beach so we ordered pineapples chunks to go. She cut the pineapples for us so we could enjoy the fruit at the beach. Highly recommend this quick stop if you're heading to the Poipu beach!

Pineapple store just outside of Lihue when heading north. We saw the sign “Sugarloaf Pinapple” outside their store! We called ahead of time to check if they had any in stock and they were!

There was one customer in front of us - took a while, and just one female worker. You can place an order for pineapples to be shipped to you.

When it was our turn we inquired about the Sugarloaf pineapple (which we were looking for all over Kauai!) In their fridge they had a few containers of already cut Sugarloaf pineapple and a bunch of whole ones. We were able to purchase whole pineapple to bring back to Oahu so we settled on the cut pieces and ate two containers between 3 people. Delicious, sweet, a little creamy pineapple!

It was really good I got The "Iron Man" smoothie. I got a "Poke me da load" (a poke bowl). It was huge, but also really. I liked it, I'll definitely come back.

The store was sparse and there were a lot of fruit flies on fruit trimmings behind the counter. They charged over $70 for shipping two pineapples that cost $27 (for two), and they made it very clear that if the fruit arrived spoiled it was “not on them” because of recent shipping delays. But the biggest disappointment was sending pineapples to someone who was expecting fresh picked pineapples from Hawaii and wanted to plant the tops, but the store had chopped off the tops to make them fit in the box! Please send smaller fruit or use larger boxes, folks. I won’t order from here again - we were just out of time and wanted to send gifts from Kauai. All else aside, the recipients said their pineapple was delicious.

Literally so ghetto. $30 for this. They ran out of fruit for açaí bowl, and gave me my smoothie in a coffee cup. Quality and taste was poor. Definitely not worth it.
