I ordered the egg rolls and pad Thai with tofu. The food was simply incredible. The crisp on egg rolls was perfection and pad Thai was served like you are in Thailand, the elements and the taste. I would drive the road to Hana just to eat here again. It’s fresh, delicious, ingredients are high quality and the flavor was just spot on.
Genuinely the best Thai food I had in America (I do travel a lot and eat a lot of Thai food generally). Must visit spot on the road to Hana.

The food is ok, but the service could be better, especially for the price. Parking can be challenging during peak hours. That said, there aren’t many Thai food options in Hāna, so it’s worth a try!

Very nice food truck stop on Road to Hana. We took the Road to Hana tour and our tour guide took us here for lunch. All of the choices were great with 6 plus different food trucks at this location. Tables were clean and ready to go! Choices range from tacos to burgers, chicken sandwiches and even fresh fish. Plenty to choose from no matter what you are craving. I had the Cheddar Chicken Sandwich with fries and it was hot, fresh and delicious. My wife had the fish tacos and she enjoyed every bite. Truly think this is the best location on Road to Hana to eat. Everyone in that path should stop in for a meal. I was even blessed to be able to help a local homeless guy get a hot meal while we were there. He was very thankful and appreciative. Very polite too. It was a win all around stopping there.

We had the chicken pad Thai and asked for an order of egg rolls, got the banana rolls instead. The banana rolls were a weird fried combination IMHO. The pad Thai was not that good and had red cabbage on it instead of bean sprouts. It was on the greasy side and heavy on the green onion, no cilantro. Would not recommend Ae's Thai kitchen.
