Kahuku Farms make acai bowls from their own farm grown acai palms. The acai is watery and icy though, kind of like a slushie so it’s not really my preference. I’m used to (and prefer) soft serve textured acai which is popular in Sydney. My friend said she liked it though since it tasted/seemed more healthy. I absolutely love the toppings of crunchy granola, lilikoi passionfruit butter, banana, and graham macadamia nut crumble. I added honey but it had a subtle flavour since the passionfruit butter was quite strong. Good balance of everything and it wasn’t too sweet.

If you are driving through the North Shore, I would recommend a stop at Kahuku Farm. It almost feels like a rest spot where you can order and eat good food, stretch your legs and let the kids play. It’s a beautiful farm with an eating area and the kids can play with balls and run around pretty much.
Just beware, because it is a farm if you are the type to get bitten by mosquitos, there are a lot. I got so many mosquito bites so the next time I go there, I will remember to put on some repellant.
They sell rare fruits like the Star Apple which is a treat.
Their chicken Caesar salad is so delicious and their roasted veggie soup! Everything was so yummy and satisfying. Great place for a stop.

We did the farm tour with Mika and had a total blast! She had us pick various fruits off trees/vines to try and had a lot of goodies from the farm store for us to sample as well. She was so accommodating about offering to take family photos and was just overall so knowledgeable, friendly and fun! My daughter especially loved our time with her and even asked for a photo with her at the end of the tour. We heard so much about the acai bowl during the tour (because there are so many different things being grown on the farm that are in it) that we had to try it for ourselves! I gotta say I'm not a fan of acai bowls or papaya but the acai and papaya from the farm taste completely different than any I've had elsewhere - both were so delicious that we had to go back for more the next day! Also, the produce prices are soooo affordable! Where else can you get fresh cacao pods - and for only $3?! Unheard of! Their line of lilikoi kitchen products are sooo good. I had to stock up and they will make for amazing souvenirs for friends and family back home! Oh and don't forget that the first 5 acres of the farm are open to the public to just roam and take in the nature and peace and quiet of the north shore. They also have various activities and sports balls around with a beautiful grass field to have fun with your friends and family - kids are running around and having fun while parents can just sit back on a lawn chair and enjoy their drinks or lunch!

I'm kinda obsessed with this place. It's probably a good thing I don't live closer to it, because I would want to go every day and I can't afford that! But basically I don't want to go to the North shore unless it's on a day when Kahuku Farms is open. I tell all the people I know that come to visit Oahu, they gotta stop by here.
My absolute favorite menu item is the veggie panini. It is packed with roasted veggies and I don't know what else but it's just so freaking good!! My kids love the veggie pizza. We all love the acai bowls and the lilikoi butter mochi and the lilikoi refresher drink. And I always have to buy a couple of the lilikoi butters to take home too because it's amazing. You really can't go wrong with anything you can get here because it's all super fresh and delicious. We've been coming here since it was just one small stand and it's grown so much, but it's stayed consistently amazing.
Tip- order online ahead of time and skip the line!

Beautiful spot! Super fresh and tasty meals. Not a ton of variety in the menu but everything is good! Such a nice space to relax and enjoy the sun. Lots of space kids to run around and play. Gardens are open to walk around as well. The grilled banana bread is a must-have!

This place is so delicious that we went back multiple times in a day! First round we got an acai bowl and a wrap / salad combo, which we took to go and ate at the nearby beach. The dressing on the salad (lillikoi balsamic) was so tasty that we ended up going back to the farm to buy some to take home. On our second trip there we were craving a little sweet treat and tried the grilled banana bread, which was also amazing! Highly recommend a stop here if on the north shore. Everything is natural and grown on property. Yum!
