My husband and I had THE BEST experience at this shop. Iris was working the day we went and meeting her was a real treat! She was so sweet and happy to let us sample anything our hearts desired! The salt mixes are incredible! We used the passion fruit chili pepper on some fresh ahi we picked up and it could be my last meal! 100/10 recommend stopping by if you love to cook or have chef-y people you'd like to pick up souvenirs for!

I was very pleased with my visit to Salty Wahine. The woman took time to explain and let us sample each spice we were interested in. She explained the various buying options and even informed us of how to save money by buying a bulk package. She seemed genuinely enthused by the product and was eager to demonstrate the quality. They even offer to ship the product if you prefer.

The shop is a simple store situated on the end of a warehouse, but it is quite charming. We've, so far, used one spice in some fruit salsa and it was wonderful. We purchased a handful of spices and are happy to know they will ship when we run out and their grinders are refillable.

We had purchased their salt in a shop on Maui 5 years ago and loved it! When we saw their HQ was on Kaui we had to go. They were so kind and ship their products as well! Highly recommend stopping in if you are in the area to support a local business. Bonus, Kaui cookie company is in the same parking lot and also a great stop.
