Delicious shaved ice, we kept coming back to try new flavors. Enjoyed the fruity over the chocolate. Especially the strawberry flavors and lava. They fill the ice with flavors and then add coconut cream on top making each bite such a sweet and cold taste. Service is also great always very attentive and nice.
Also felt the shaved ice was much better than açaí bowl.

Both my kids agreed on one thing. The worst shave ice they’ve ever had. My daughter was filled with coconut milk, and the strawberry wasn’t sweet…. When I asked for more strawberry syrup, they wanted to charge me for it. The photo below looks more like a soup no texture advice at all.

When the weather gets warm, you simply must visit Wailua Shave Ice! Their shaved ice is made from flaky and soft ice, and the flavors are simply unbeatable. I tried the Lava Flow with Haupia topping and a Classic Rainbow with mochi pieces. The Lava Flow has a pineapple syrup with chunks of pineapple and strawberries. Everything here is made fresh every day, and the staff are super friendly. This place has a really authentic local vibe. You won’t find a better shave ice experience anywhere!

Seriously - really good shave ice! This is the perfect blend of priced decently and super soft shave ice. The flavors are natural juices, or you can get the artificial banana, vanilla or red flavoring if you want. My favorite was the guava or rootbeer float. But honestly, you can’t go wrong! My family loved the mango shave ice. Everyone is really nice, service was fast!

Delicious shave ice from Wailua Shave Ice the ice texture was really smooth, and the different flavors are very nice on the lave they use pineapple juice topped with a coconut foam topped with strawberry drizzle and fruit the staff is friendly and there is plenty of parking when I went it was packed so you know it's a local favorite if you are in Kauai defiantly try Wailua Shave Ice

Modern ordering system that works pretty well. It was cool to see a date on the shave ice machine indicating when the blade was last changed. The texture of the ice really does reflect that care, super fluffy, not at all icey.

We got Da Mango One and the Lilikoi cream and both had real fruit based syrups and actual fruit. Sweetened condensed milk is a traditional bar for the creams and milk toppings. I loved the tiny bits of chewy mochi on the mango one. Both were excellent.
