The fruit selection is unreal—sweet apple bananas, perfectly ripe papayas, liliko'i, guava, and avocado that is Unworldly! They carry coffee and macadamia nuts and fresh ginger and the list goes on and on...

You'll be greeted by the incredibly kind and knowledgeable Jeremiah. He will guide you through the fruit/vegetable selection and share tips and recipes for enjoying all the produce. Ask for his apple banana pancakes recipe which turn breakfast into something truly special.

They also carry Kahuna Chapstick—hands down the most amazing, hydrating lip balm I’ve ever used. It's organic, locally made and totally worth it!!

I was fruit hunting and I found Kainaliu fresh grocery , I was surprised to see that they had ripe avocado's that I have been looking for. The owner of the store was very polite and well spoken, he chopped up some fruits for me and him to try. we spoke for about 20 minutes. The store is also very unique inside there is painting on the wall that I really enjoyed. 5 stars from me ⭐️🌟

Highly recommend dropping by this grocery store! They have an awesome selection of local fruits and vegetables. The owner was also incredibly knowledgeable and gave us some local recipes and cooking tips in addition to some delicious fruit samples!

Great stuff. Stopped in and got fresh eggs, bananas, citrus and sourdough 'ulu bread. I love getting green/blue eggs, which they had. Check it out!

Great big island produce, exotic tropical fruits, big island grass fed beef including ribeye, filet mignon, fresh sundog bakery breads on Tuesday and Thursday. Super friendly staff/owner. Feels good supporting local farmers through this wonderful store.

Super local, natural, healthy food. And Could not agree more about Alfred, the owner of the shop. Super friendly and freaking fascinating, he is a farmer and knows everything plants, and his wife is a gemologist, so he has such a wide breadth of knowledge. Great place to stop by. Not cheap, but real food that isn’t mass produced never is.

Lovely local farm shop. The owner is wonderful and super passionate about his peppers! (make sure to buy them). Their produce is really fresh and they carry lots of local organic big island meats!
