We were in the neighborhood and stopped in at Pounder’s today. Great food, atmosphere, and service. Jody was our server and helped with the menu. If you like the macadamia nut crusted fish dishes, their recipe is great but they run out of it quick. We had the poke bowl, Korean chicken and kids pizza. All of the dishes were tasty (no left overs) but no room for desert. Maybe next time.

The cheesesteak and Korean chicken were legit! Seriously the cheesesteak might be one of the better ones I’ve had. The braised short ribs were so tender. Korean chicken flavor was excellent. Pork sliders were OK. Could use a little more sauce on the side. Slaw is a dryer one, but not bad. Chicken strips were par for the course. Fries were pretty good, like a light batter on them. One waitress had a large area and it was a bit slow, but I’m finding that’s all of Hawaii.

Not many options for indoor dining, so this was our choice.
The service was polite, clear, and concise.
Our appetizer and main entre were delivered in a timely manner.
My bacon cheese burger was overcooked, well done, burnt edges.
My biggest complaint is that they started stacking chairs, sweeping the floors, and cleaning glass doors before closing. They started cleaning around us. I asked, "Are you closing soon?"(sarcastically). They responded, "Don't worry, take your time, we're getting a head start". But really? How welcoming is that? Would you do that at home with your dinner guests?
This destroyed our overall experience.

Fast friendly service. Nice outdoor seating. They have inside seating also. I got the Pounder burger and my wife got the bacon burger. The burgers were okay. Nothing special. The fries were crispy but had a greasy taste. The fountain drinks tasted like the ocean. This place is okay in a pinch. Again, the service is excellent.

Delightful restaurant in the Hukilau Marketplace just outside the gate to Polynesian Cultural Center. We sat outside in the covered patio area. Great ambiance. Refreshing breeze so we did not need the fan conveniently placed at each table. Food was unique and delicious. We had the Korean Fried Chicken and Thai Veg Stir-fry. Prices were OK considering the touristy location. Staff were welcoming and helpful. The giant cookie desserts were incredible (eaten before remembering to take a picture). Hats off to our server, Marlie, who made us feel special! Will return!

The heart & warmth of the staff made this meal perfect! Every dish was literally amazingly — from the mango guava nonalcoholic cocktails to the crispy fried sunfish to the classic pepperoni pizza and the cheesecake dessert — all were beautifully plated & tasted fresh and delicious. The food servers were swamped but did a great job at working together to provide excellent service. This is an elegant restaurant with warm wood surroundings. Super clean restrooms. I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to celebrate a special occasion. We had an amazing meal that we’ll remember fondly for a long long time!

Our first visit here - the restaurant is located in a nice area with good atmosphere. Food was mediocre. Shrimp Tempura tacos were good. The mango salsa with liliko’i aioli drizzle was yummy, however, the mini flour tortillas were hard and tasted old. The pizza was aight, barely touched it. The Crispy Fish was the best dish we had gotten - not only did it looked great but also tasted great. Crispy on the outside, perfectly cooked on the inside, and great seasoning as well. Our server didn’t really show up much after handing us our food. Didn’t really check on us or fill our drinks either. It also took a while for our bill.

Adequate. You’re in Paradise and there are so many better options; truly consider elsewhere!
Although seated immediately, took awhile for our waitress to appear and after three apologies for a slow kitchen our burgers and poke bowls arrived. Of course, special requests to leave off burger condiments were ignored.
The food was fine. Nothing special, not awful and not memorable.
The restaurant was dark and their claim to fame seems to be enormous chunky cookies. No thanks.
