I’ve been to the Philadelphia Flower Show twice and it’s absolutely amazing artists everywhere. I can’t recommend this highly enough! I adore flowers and I was just blown away by so many of the arrangements. Bring your camera!

Returning in 2023 to the Convention Center for the Flower show was worrisome. It did get crowded quickly.
The main exhibits had plenty of interest, walking into the dangling Orchids was exciting. But overall the main exhibits were set up in small walk threw sections. People lined up to see them, once inside it felt claustrophobic, with no way out, had to wait for the people to move. It was not inviting. Best to just peak in or maybe visit during a weekday could be less crowded?
Wondering over to the Hamilton Horticourt, it was less crowded, with room to appreciate the individual exhibits. The photography class is new. ?
Price was another ?, $45 onsite plus $2.50 for the in-"convenience" fee to print a ticket, just to enter.
Best to look for discounts or purchase online. Other activities were for an additional fee.

Overall good experience with "The PA Horticultural Society" Garden Exhibition.
Worth seeing and supporting.
And also, there is a very responsive Administration for "The PHS" and Staffing at "The PHS" Exhibition Garden Show.
The only drawback, is that over time, "The PA Horticultural Society" Garden Exhibition has become more commercial and fewer Garden displays.
Obversely, there is a good push for Environmental And Local Community gardening efforts.
Photos attached are from a few Exhibitions of "The PHS".

It is always nice to have growing flowers. It is not that hard, but there is an art to putting the flowers in the ground. Flowers with beautful colors, natural green plants with the correct amount of shade, sun and wooded area....there's an art to covering the tops of the flowers to have a larger garden. The Pennsylvania Horticultral Society appears as a grass roots organisation. That is not true of any flower growing with a space holding many artful thoughts that vision appreciates.

The exhibits and vendors for the 2021 Flower Show are great, as always. The weather and temperature outdoors in FDR Park, not so much. High temperatures and humidity are combining to make it a very uncomfortable experience. I'm sitting in the "Garden District" right now watching a number of patrons who are obviously having trouble with the heat. Here's hoping for better weather - or a return back to the Convention Center - next year!

Note: this building is the offices of the organization. Their great library is open business hours, but the building is not really a place to visit unless there's a public program happening.
PHS the organization is awesome, and their programs make our city grreen and great!!

The PHS scheduled a run Sunday morning, totally tying up traffic in the area. Our out-of-town visitors must have a very negative view of both our city and the Flower Show experience. As a member of PHS, I am ashamed and apologizing to our guests.
The show itself was wonderful.

Disappointing to see vendors be such a focus... felt like an art fair w a few cool installations around. Poor traffic flow, and vendors tents far overwhelmed the actual art. Hats off to the display artists....and vendors too, quite frankly, for their efforts, but this concept needs some rethinking.
