Foodland Farms at Ala Moana is a great spot to grab fresh, delicious food. We picked up some fresh ahi poke and a bento, which we enjoyed at Ala Moana Regional Park. The supermarket boasts an impressive selection of freshly prepared meals, offering something for every taste. Plus, the prices are surprisingly reasonable for the quality and variety. It's a perfect place to grab a quick, tasty bite!

My first time visiting Hawaii, and Foodland Farms at Ala Moana completely blew me away. From the moment I walked in, I could tell this wasn’t your average grocery store. The store itself has a really sleek, modern vibe, with spacious aisles and a bright, welcoming feel, making it a pleasant place to browse. It didn’t take long for me to realize why this place is so popular among locals and tourists alike.

The highlight of my experience was definitely the fresh poke bar. I’ve had poke before, but this was next-level. The fish was incredibly fresh, and the variety of options was impressive—everything from classic ahi poke to more adventurous flavors. I was able to sample a few different types before deciding, and each one was bursting with flavor. The seasoning was on point, and I loved how they gave you the option to customize your bowl with different toppings. I honestly could’ve stayed at the poke bar all day.

But the poke wasn’t the only standout. The cooked food bar was also fantastic. I tried a few different items, including some Hawaiian-style dishes, and everything was delicious. The food felt like home-cooked comfort food, and it was so convenient to grab a hot meal while I was out and about. I was especially impressed by the wide range of options, from hearty salads to more substantial plates like loco moco and braised meats—perfect for a quick yet satisfying bite.

On top of the amazing food, I loved the local vibe of the store. They really focus on carrying Hawaiian-grown products and supporting local farmers and artisans, which made me feel like I was truly getting a taste of the island. The produce was vibrant and fresh, and there were tons of local snacks and products I couldn’t find anywhere else.

Sure, it’s on the pricier side, but honestly, the quality was well worth it. Between the fresh fish, the incredible poke, and the selection of ready-made meals, I definitely got more than my money’s worth.

For anyone visiting or living in the area, I highly recommend checking out Foodland Farms. Whether you’re grabbing a quick meal, stocking up on groceries, or just looking for some authentic Hawaiian flavors, this place has it all. It’s now one of my favorite spots in Honolulu, and I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town.

I love their #sushi. I know this place is really busy any time of the day, I enjoy invite me to eat here. The prices are competitive with other supermarkets.

If you’re craving poke or want affordable meal options, Foodland is a great place to visit where you can get super fresh poke at a great place and have so many selections of ready-made-meals. I was craving eggs, and I found a bento box with eggs, rice, bacon, sausage, and Portuguese sausage which really satisfied my cravings. Everyone else in the group was so happy with the poke that we made a second trek here before our flight. I would always recommend to friends to come here to grab at least a meal as there are seating available and you and your group can grab different foods and share. This is located in the same area as the Ala Moana Centre and it’s in the lower parking level, but it is not directly connected to the mall.

Went to check out their poke bar. Without a doubt, the most elaborate and extensive poke bar in the islands. It is usually busy with nearby residents, and the smart travelers have figured it out, too. You'll pay local market prices, but the selection is crazy. Surprisingly, they have a pretty good array of bentos and sides you don't normally see as well. In all, a one-stop shop to fill your poke and bento fantasy. 😉🤙✌️

So glad we had a waiter recommend Foodland while we were visiting in January. We were told that they have the best poke and he was not wrong! Foodland reminds me of Whole Foods. It’s essentially Hawaii’s grocery store, kind of like how HEB is Texas’s grocery store. It was very easy finding the poke counter and ordering is very simple. You just choose the bento you want (in my case, I got the Premium Poke Bento), choose the poke you want (I went with the Wasabi Salmon poke) - and that’s it! They will put it on rice and box it up for you. You can also just order the poke by itself without rice if you want. OMG was the Wasabi Salmon poke SO GOOD. I still dream about it today. And there’s a good amount of seating inside the store to eat it there if you want to. We went to Foodland twice while we were visiting but, to my dismay, they don’t always make the same poke every day. So the second time I went I got the Wasabi Ahi poke. Wasn’t as good as the Wasabi Salmon but still delicious! I can’t wait to go to Hawaii again specifically to visit Foodland for its poke. I even bought a Foodland poke reusable shopping bag to commemorate the experience! Lol

Fresh and great price poke and you can get per 1/4 lb, 1/2 lb or as a rice bowl. You have to get a ticket in order to order but it goes fairly quick.

The ready to eat food sectionis massive! From poke, to fried chicken, sandwiches, pizza, alcoholic bar, to tens of different kind of salads and juices!
