What a beautiful place to stop. Traveling north and south on Parks Hiway, this is a family farm that includes sale of vegetables grown in a 12 week season in Summer. There is a beer tasting Raul’s car/ tasting room. Also a Bed and Breakfast. Part of the historical Roosevelt New Deal, this family was a part of the incentive to come out from Wisconsin and live and grow a farm full of produce. Stay 3 years and the land becomes yours. Three generations Dave and Michelle Church are still there and show you what is unique to Alaska gardening!

Cute little spot to just hang out and have a drink. It's an old rail car that they converted into a tap room. They do have food trucks from time to time so much sure to check their Facebook. They have some choices of beer I haven't seen anywhere else. The gentleman who is her pouring is chill and welcoming. One of my go tos for a relaxing pint with a good view.

Visited the farm stand at Moonstone Farm the other day to buy farm-fresh veggies! The kids gobbled up sugar snap peas and we enjoyed roasted beets and garlic later. They also have a remodeled railroad car tasting room with several local brews on tap including root beer. A large outdoor deck with umbrella covered tables makes for a gorgeous way to spend the afternoon. Hours for both the farm stand and tasting room are Thurs & Sat 2-6pm.

My FAVORITE little farm in all of Alaska. They have a great variety and amazing quality vegetables. Each time my children and I have came here we've felt so welcomed. I drive from Anchorage to the valley just to come here for my vegetables.

It's a small mom and pop farm. The owners were friendly and took their time showing the group around. Relaxing and enjoyable to see farming on a small scale.
