Dr. Ho is the best dermatologist! He is an expert in his field and knows everything immediately. He explains things very well, and answers questions for you.
I was nervous about cutting something off the skin, and Dr. Ho was so helpful and kind. He's the best!

Dr. Ho is the worse doctor I have ever encountered. He shows up in a hurry, stays for less than 10 minutes and will not listen to you for even one minute. He is combative and arrogant. Do yourself a favor and find a better doctor.

Unprofessional. Negligent. Disinterested. Aggressive. Arrogant. Combative. Condescending. Potentially harmful. Not open to questions. Appointment limited to 5 mins. Truly the most shocking and unsettling Dr’s appointment of my lifetime. This Dr does not have the human/people skills to be in-practice to decent human beings - this is my personal opinion and characterization based upon my experience of more than one patient visit with Dr Ho (all of us have bad days so I gave this Dr a second chance - but my experiences were generally consistent.) Shame on NYU for allowing and enabling such a poor level of patient care and patient experience, as I now know and have since seen that Dr Ho has other recent and long-standing reviews on this and other sites across the internet which evidence that I am not alone in having had a similar experience and whom have made similar characterizations of Dr Ho. Having been a patient of numerous NYU Dr's over nearly three decades with generally very good experience, I had not felt the need to research an NYU Dr referred to me by another trusted NYU Dr. Notwithstanding, this experience has been a teachable moment in that it is incumbent on me to research Dr's and their reviews in order to be better informed of my likely and probable experience, should I proceed and elect to consult with them for my healthcare. The fact that I didn't on this occasion, that's on me. By posting this (my first ever negative public Dr review), my hope is that I can help other potentially new patients of Dr Ho learn of my experience and characterizations and encourage them to make a wider search for other reviews, and take these into consideration when researching and selecting a new Dermatologist.
