This is one of my favorite big island farmer’s markets! Gorgeous mushrooms, hydroponic greens, tasty exotic tropical fruits, local butcher truck with a great selection of grass fed beef and other meats, fresh vegetables, prepared foods, food trucks and more! So worth checking out! I go every week. Come early for best selection.

I don't think this market needs much more promotion, but I'll add our experiences in case someone needs more convincing. In North Hawai'i, of the more mainstream farmer's markets - this is the best. It has great locally grown fruit and veg. As someone else mentioned, unusual and delicious mushrooms. Good prepared foods. If you're there for produce, suggest getting there by 7:30. If you want breakfast, its better after 8:30. Some vendors take apple pay/cards, but its good to have cash as well.

What a great gem of a place. Well supported with food trucks to satisfy any appetite. Local apparel and baked goods are plentyfull. A great place to engage with the locals especially if you are a visitor to the island.

Very pleasant community farmers market on Wednesdays! There are produce, mushrooms, crafts and food. As an Asian food afficiniado I was pleasantly surprised to find steamed Japanese abalone and Thai dumplings 🥟😋

Favorite farmers market on island. Open on Saturday morning as well. We got some great Thai food, falafels, and Ukrainian Pyrpgki.

We were so glad we discovered this! Great way to beat the heat for a couple of hours, delicious and plenty of food/drink choices. Vendors actually from the big island selling their handmade quality crafts. Live music, plenty of picnic tables, free parking, beautiful drive, great for all ages.

Great place. If you get a chance to go definitely make the visit. Good food and other local things to buy. Waimea is also a beautiful city to walk around as well.
