How do you even explain how delicious this restaurant is? We went for breakfast and lunch for three days out of five on the island because we loved that much! Claudia and Gino make this such a great experience, starting with how welcoming they are and how yummy the food is. Everything is made fresh and we enjoyed fresh, airy, and buttery croissants for breakfast along with other bigger plates such as the lobster burrito, eggs, and burrata. For lunch, we feasted on the meatballs, squid ink pasta, and lobster pasta. We devoured every dish and dessert (tiramisu and chocolate cake). There is a reason we went back to eat as often as we could. They close on Sundays hence we couldn't eat there even though we wanted to. If there is a downside it is the view from the restaurant which is not great, but don't let this discourage you from having one of your favorite meals you will ever have. I confidently say this after trying Ulu at the four seasons and eating at many fine dining restaurants in Miami and New York City. Enjoy! Probably the best meal I have had in a long time. Had a light lunch here on a whim. They suggest a reservation but we lucked out. Sat outside on a beautiful day.

Wife and I split a salad for a start. The salad was way too much for one person. Then I had a sandwich with Peruvian sausage and the wife had a flatbread pizza. This more than enough for a lunch. I also had a beer and the wife had a daiquiri.

While this was a pricey lunch it was very good. Only draw back was a lack of a view from the outside seating. We could look across the street and see a couple storage tanks. Wish they had a better view

Is one of the most delicious lunches I’ve ever experienced. It was a group of four of us and we all ordered different meals. Claudia was fantastic at giving us advice on what to order and everything tasted exceptional. The seafood platter with octopus was the best I’ve ever tasted, the pasta dishes were also amazing. For any occasion, I highly recommend this restaurant.

Dining at Cipriano's Kitchen was not just a meal but an experience! This family owned operation was spectacular from start to finish. Our only regret was that we were too full to have dessert. My daughter and I shared meals. I ordered the Burratta plate on special and she ordered the pork belly sandwich. Everything was prepared perfectly. We also would suggest you get the Hibiscus-Lilikoi iced tea. It has a complex flavor profile that was delightful.

We did a walk-in and were very fortunate to get seated and served within 20 minutes. Reservations for lunch and dinner is definitely required, they are busy!
The food is delicious and the service friendly. Definitely the best Italian meal I've had. We got the carbonara + octopus & the focaccia meatball panini, which were both delicious.
The drinks were decent, but a bit weak on the alcohol. The food more than makes up for it though. The ambiance was definitely casual and welcoming. This is my favorite restaurant on the Big Island, and is one that I look forward to coming back to.

If I could rate this a 10 star I would! The flavors are still popping out of my mouth. My belly was as full as my heart was when I left. Claudia and Gino are beautiful humans. Claudia is such a beautiful story teller.

By far THE best Lobster Tagliatelle Pistachio I have ever had (sad no picture taken). Add the local Lobster or shrimp to what ever dish you have, it's a must! Everything is made with local fresh ingredients. The caesar salad is made with the crumbs of the homemade focaccia bread, it was brilliant. This truly needs to be a Michelin Star restaurant. Do not leave without the best cappuccino and home made gluten free chocolate cake which Claudia makes from grinding the almonds herself. Oh and the octopus, man oh man perfectly cooked. There are two ways to cook octopus, good and bad, they nailed it!

We went two times in one week and wish we had discovered this earlier in our trip. Sure it is a bit pricier than going to a hotel restaurant, but it is worth every single dollar.

That was hands down the best meal I’ve had in a long time and definitely the best meal I’ve had on big island. Each bite was so delicious I was literally licking the plate. I recommend making reservations as this place makes everything from scratch so it is helpful to have a reservation! The staff were so sweet and made us feel right at home! I will be back!!!
