A great place to stay minutes from Volcanoes National Park. The rooms are wonderfully appointed and super comfortable, while the barn yard animals provided a lovely background chorus. I would definitely stay here again.

This was such a unique and pleasurable stay! Super comfortable room, beautiful view, and lots of friendly animals around the property. I loved all the kitties that came out to greet us! The breakfast was delicious, I was a huge fan of the fresh papaya boats. I would definitely recommend staying here, especially if you’re an early riser and want easy access to Volcano National Park.

Stayed 3 nights in the Punawai Hale room. This unit is away from the main building attached to the barn. It isnt really a ranch but rather a rescue home for mainly chickens and ducks. This unit is surrounded by the chickens/ ducks, which seems nice until you need to walk through their poop to get to your door every day. The 4:30/5:00 AM rooster crow wakeup is something.

Seems that this unit used to be nicer like 5/10 years ago, but the sofa and chairs are uncomfortable, faded and stained; mold on the bathroom ceilings; cobwebs on the windows, and an unappealing view of a seemingly half filled pond. Bed is nice though. There are other, cheaper places to stay in Volcano that are nicer and have been better cared for.

Sehr schöner ruhiger Ort.
Man kann sogar das Wasser trinken. Meine Kinder waren total begeistert von den Tieren.
Das Frühstück wird frisch zubereitet und an die Haustür geliefert.
