Best Times Supermarket location on the island! Especially now that they have added Donki to their brand as well as delicious food options such as WagyuKushi! 15$ for big lunch plate is perfect. Fast and excellent service, large variety of qualities products, good prices.

I went there on a Sunday because they usually have this BBQ Chicken & Teriyaki Beef that tastes awesome. When I got there, I found out that it's now a Don Quixote Times Supermarket. I went in and found out that they don't have BBQ Chicken or Teriyaki Beef. I was sad. There's enough food prep space to keep some of the Times hot food choices and Don Quixote hot food choices. Even though I was a little disappointed, I was happy that there still was a "Don Quixote" type of store in Waipahu.

I just finished work and stopped by Kunia Times like I usually do. I have been coming here pretty much every other day since falling in love with Times in Waialae and since then trying out Kunia the service is friendly, fish is top notch, and food is a great value for the quality. But today I tried to purchase alcohol and pupus and I usually I go with other construction workers. So I was ready with my ID which is fine. But the cashier said she needed everybody's ID. I asked why. And the cashier said that ID is needed when "they feel that alcohol is purchased for others that look as though they may drink". The manager agreed. I thought that was the most categorized, demeaning, derogatory statement I ever heard. Because we were wearing hi-visibility shirts she categorized us. I explained only I touched the alcohol, only I loaded up the alcohol, and only I touched the cart. And I was told "we need ID'S if we feel that anybody with you may drink alcohol". If that's the case why would anybody underage even work @ a grocery store. Why would anyone come to the store underage. To put customers under an assumption and to hint a criminalization of construction workers is very demeaning. That's like a store owner following someone in the store and assuming they will steal if they look a certain way or they are with certain people. I will boycott Time's and share my experiences with other friends and family members. No thank you.

Nice selection of everything from fresh fish to baked goods. I usually look for the specials with the purple tag. If you're the carnivorous type you're going to like the huge selection of bacon, sausage and lunch meats. Aloha
