We so appreciate being able to use the outdoor basketball courts at sunset surrounded by the Ko’olaus. When we play in the gym, the staff is always helpful.

Made a brief stop while rerouting around traffic. Very large quiet park. I stopped midway midweek so large parking lots almost empty. Plenty of green grass. Really not that much shade. Great views of the mountains. If beaches seem over crowded this is not a bad second choice for a round the island picnic stop. No tables or benches seen.

It's a great space for the dozens of soccer games that are played on Saturday morning, but there isn't much shade. It goes without saying that a tent, umbrella, shelter, etc is critical if you're going to watch a game.

There is plenty if space for kite flying, Frisbee. Volleyball, and picnics. Also available is baseball diamond, men/women bathroom, outside faucet..
I was here on a Sunday and went with hand sanitizer and t.p in hand but was pleasantly surprised to fine clean bathroom with t.p.

A surprisingly peaceful and fairly clean public park in the heart of Waimanalo town. Large open fields to do what you choose. A few resident vagrants in the area that usually loiter near the restrooms.
