Fun weekend market for fresh produce, meats, foods, arts, crafts, jewelry, and other local products all made on the Big Island.

I especially enjoyed the BLT I bought from the Mai Bacon stand. Yummy! Fresh fried local bacon, Hawaiian bun, local produce, with a tasty aioli sauce.

The macadamia nut caramel tart was tasty from another stand. Elsewhere I had one of the best apple turnovers I’ve ever had.

Parking can be a challenge.

The Waimea Town Market is a very popular farmer’s market which beautifully locally grown vegetables as well as local bakery products, jewelry and all kinds of local vendors. I know the market is open on Saturdays from 7:30 am til ( I think) noon!

This farmers’ market is absolutely amazing. The temperature here is refreshing, and so is the food. Unique, delicious, and rare things fill this mouthwatering place. So many foods to choose from. You must come here!

Great market located right in the heart of Waimea. Open on Saturdays until around 1pm. You can find nice local products, fresh cooked foods, local farm harvested fruits and vegetables, flowers, handmade knives, jewelry and more. Easy to access and not crowded. Look at the weather before you go as the coastal area weather is different than Waimea. Enjoy the Aloha spirit and the beautiful city.

Saturday’s Waimea Town Market satisfied my appetite.
One vendor sold me a double Kona espresso to go with the neighbors Mexican tamales. I ate my breakfast , while, I watched people forming a long line to buy baked goods.
A cheese vendor sold me a variety of sample size pieces of goat cheese to eat later, while driving. I purchased a pineapple, papayas, and lemons.

If you want to experience a various local Hawaiian shops, this farmers market could be one of the good ways. You could meet various kind of local businesses from here, and particularly you could meet and taste local farm's products such as Lilikoi butter or jam. They will close around 12 PM, so do not be there too late if you do not want miss any store.
