My nickname for this place is "Here Today, Gone Tomorrow" because you never know when they're going to pull an item from the shelf, never to be seen again. You ask why at the
Customer Disservice desk, and all they say is "Oh well. I've been there at peak times with lines of shoppers stretching down the aisle because there's only one or two cashiers on duty.

Some of the staff are nice, but most--especially the kids--barely function and act like they've chewed too many thc gummies.

On the opposite end of the spectrum, there's Trader Joe's, where the prices are better and the level of customer service is amazing. Would love to see Foodtown move out and Trader Joe's move in.

Prices are well over the Prices of any other food store in the area. I only go to this store in a emergency, and every time it seems the cashiers are getting younger and less aware their working with customers that are spending hard earned money in this store by not even attempting to help bag groceries as they stand there watching the customer bag there own groceries ,at times picking up their phones and sending text messages or looking at what ever they seem to like on social media instead of helping the customers. This store was once a good store before the original owner passed away.

Go to grocery store since 1982 when I moved to Atlantic Highlands. A most wonderful woman, who both works in the Flower Department and the checkouts, has been there since I first shopped for diapers and baby food. She makes me want to continue as a customer. I spend a lot of money for the convenience. And my front yard is full every spring and summer of Foodtown's floral offerings.

A very nice and friendly store. The workers will go above and beyond to assist. Chip in the catering section was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Store is laid out as a typical grocery store layout. No bags available at checkout unless you purchase them. Sheet cake and catered food was delicious and a hit among my guests for an event.
