Made the trek to Queen Creek from the north valley to check the garden out today since it was slightly cooler out, and I’m so glad we went. I learned that everything in the garden is edible, and I loved brushing my hand over the rosemary- the beautiful smell is still lingering. We had the garden to ourselves and it was a great day for exploring. The garden is relatively small but I thought it was perfect for a stroll, and then you’re back in the entertainment district. My one recommendation- the music from the main yard it very loud and doesn’t fit the garden which is peaceful and serene- would be great if they installed small speakers with fitting music throughout the garden. Can’t wait to see the garden at night sometime!

Drinks are cheaper than literally every other activity. Do with that information what you will. Lol. We asked about canoeing while we were there and the short answer was "no" but the lady could not explain why and got annoyed when I asked, even though it was simply: they didn't have a staff member to assist us into the life vests/canoes/water and she couldn't leave the front desk. And in the BBQ ($$$) the ordering system was not super clear. It also gets loud in there, quickly and easily. (Fair warning for anyone with special needs kiddos). So, communication was not superb, unless you count the two dozen signs claiming to just scan the QR code for assistance. All that said, it's very pretty and there's lots of great photo op stops.

I had the pleasure of meeting Sarah during my visit to Pecan Lake Entertainment, and I couldn’t have asked for a better guide. Sarah’s extensive knowledge of the venue and its history truly stood out. She took the time to give us a personal, personable tour, making us feel seen and special throughout the experience.

Not only did she answer all of our questions with patience and clarity, but she also shared fascinating facts about the gardens and the owner, adding a rich layer of history to our visit. Sarah's passion for Pecan Lake Entertainment is evident, and she made our visit both educational and memorable.
I highly recommend a visit, especially if you have the chance meet Sarah!

Me and a couple of friends have gone to the garden just to see the sights, as I thought it would be a relaxing thing to do. Surprisingly, we were there at the perfect time, as we were given an impromptu tour with Sarah, the garden’s community liaison! The tour with her was an amazing addition to the experience, as we learned many things and also tasted a few plants at the garden. The evening was really sweet, and I highly
recommend visiting here!

Very beautiful place to walk through at night. The weather right now is perfect. There are so many other activities at Pecan Lake. I'll definitely be back.

I wanted to get family photos done but didn’t want the typical desert background. A few days earlier, we had visited Pecan Lake, so we decided to check out the gardens there. Initially, we were told they were fully booked, but I asked for the manager’s contact information to follow up. I reached out to Sarah, the manager, and she was able to fit us in at our preferred time. The pictures turned out beautifully, and Sarah was great to work with, making the whole process smooth and enjoyable.

We booked for a 90 minute photo session for our engagement photos we spent about 162 for the session. We live in Tucson and the day of the shoot I got my hair and makeup done we were about 30 minutes out I decided to text them to let them know we were almost there I was told they would be closing at the time I booked my shoot which was 4 o’clock there was a political event happening on the grounds and that they had just found out on that day that they would be closing I did not get notified about this until me reaching out. The reason I reached out was because looking at the website it said it was closed by 4 which concerned me. How was the website updated but yet me the person who booked for that specific time was not notified until me reaching out. The person in charge of the booking told us we couldn’t have a refund or even a partial refund the best she could do was offer us two free admission to enter on our own time and to reschedule the booking. For us not being from the area we don’t find any use of two free admission as this was a one time thing. We rescheduled the shoot but still didn’t receive any kind of accommodation to the inconvenience. To her she felt us reaching out and her letting us know that they are closed was basically her notifying us and that it’s on us that we came out this way. As I said we were already 30 minutes when I texted and wanted to speak in person to work this out but nothing was ever worked out other then rescheduling. It was the time and money spent on preparing for that day and also the gas wasted on going to and back the day of being canceled on and also our photographer taking the time to come out and was paid for already. We were lucky enough to have her accommodate us on rescheduling. At arrival the admission attendant we spoke with her asking if we could still go in even with the event going on she told us that it would be no problem that they wouldn’t have booked us if it was not a problem so even the attendant working was not aware of anything going on either.
We did have our shoot and the garden was beautiful small but still great for our shoot. Please be aware when booking photo sessions.

It's a quiet place. Well, when the construction next door is completed. ? I guess I mean it's a serene spot. My favorite part was the hidden grotto surrounded by trees and lush growth. I sat on a chair and one of the chickens came and spoke to me. I'd definitely go back to enjoy the monster koi in the watermill pond and to see the citrus grove ripened. And the bok-bok chickens.
