I have been part of the CCC community for almost three years now, they are a small business - woman owned - and most importantly an extremely EFFICIENT enterprise not to mention - wildly knowledgeable. Aside from their main mission (composting) they are committed to educational awareness and local engagement. highly recommended x 10000.

Community Compost Company helps me and my family compost in the city! They have a convenient, dependable pickup with a manageable bucket and can accept ALL foods (including meats and dairy). You will periodically receive finished bags of compost for your plants, and if you don't want/need it, they will donate to a local organization (like a community garden). They make it really easy to live more sustainably!

We've been using their compost service for over a year, and we're thrilled with it! Not only does it reduce our waste, but we also get a complimentary bag of soil annually. We keep a small bin in our kitchen and regularly empty it into the Community Compost bin that we keep by the trash bins.
Their customer service is always helpful and very responsive.

We have been using Community Compost for 4 years. Worth every penny. Our trash never smells as all the food goes in the bin, and they deliver fresh clean bins. We are so happy with the service that we give subscriptions as a house warming gift to our friends in hoboken!

I am thankful that our town offers the compose program. Yes, its easier just to throw everything in the trash and yes it takes a little effort to drop the compose off separately, but knowing that little action is helping to contribute back to the environment and possibly the tiny impact on our future generations, encourages me to keep up with it. The other perk is that our trash don’t have the food smell, especially during summer months and save on trash bags too:). As saying I hear often, one person’s effort might seem useless, but a thousand people could move mountains. Thank you for providing the program and often doing goods in this lovely town and for our community.

We have been members of the community compost since January 2019. It is a seamless service and we could not recommend them more! As a family of three (myself, husband and my mother) we utilize one bucket which is (absent Thanksgiving and Christmas) sufficent for our weekly waste. We keep it outside our place and have never had any issues. The employees are lovely and their website is easy to use. It's also always a nice reward to get a bag of soil that you know you had a hand in contributing to. More people should use this company and realize how important a small step like composting can add to the local eco footprint.
