Great place. Well established business and for good reason. Always steady good business. Always a great selection of perenials, annuals, etc. I remember when the house was there, the Bitners lived there. Dephinately a part of Hightstowns history by now. (Not sure of familys name spelling?)

I have been customer of this place for over 10+ years. Have bought all gardening needs, spending $500+ year after year. Also recommended this place for all my friends and family.

Last week, by error, I bought too many flower trays. Went to garden center on Monday morning(which was empty) and requested for :
1. Return
2. Hold the trays for a week( I'm going out of town this week)
3. Give me a store credit for the flats which I can use sometime this year

The owner was rude and got extremely angry for wasting his time. I tried to explain my travel plans for the week and the plants will die by the time I return from vacation. He just did not care - for me or the plants.

While he has lost his life time customer, I wanted to share this experience. While I can't say , how other garden centers would have acted, surely Comisky's is not going get my business.

What a beautiful place!!! The nursery is so beautifully decorated with a lot of small indoor and garden decorative items. It contains one of the largest collection of house plants in the central jersey area. We searched for many nurseries in the area, some very large ones, but this was the place which satisfied our needs for the house plants. The plants were very healthy and they are very well priced, considering the quality and health of the plants. We ended up buying multiple plants from here. We have bookmarked the place to visit every spring/summer.

Best around, great selection, good advice and service, and good prices. Can’t beat Comisky’s when Spring comes and you want to pretty up your yard or your front porch! Also be sure to pick up some local honey when you come, it’s made by my neighbor Curtis and his “Broad Street Bees”. I give it to all my friends as gifts because it tastes incredible and local honey is good for you!

Beautiful plants. Nice selection of annuals and perennials. I like buying locally. I find Home Depot plants to be sad looking and very expensive. They are not local either. Ed's been there for years.

After months of trying to find the perfect house plants I stumbled upon this local gem. The staff was very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Their plants are healthy and they have a wide selection. Comisky's does not disappoint.
