Some of the older ladies at the food distribution center on Broad St can be rude, especially to the patrons who speak Spanish. They ignorantly believe that if you scream in English, that helps Spanish speakers to magically understand English better.

Bad customer service they pick who they want to help some of the Spanish girls that works behind the desk only help their own people and to me that's discrimination. They give customers hard time for rental assistance I do not recommend anybody to come here for help with rental assistance. They help with school supplies which is good for the children but some case workers in their are not helpful they can be rude and they if u not Mexican forget about the help coming from them because it seems like they only help Mexicans only and they treat them with more respect, very ignorant and a shame I will not waste my time with rise they treated me bad here for rental help and I'm a hightstown resident also, it's really sad.

Friendly staff, a very worthwhile organization. I often find treasures, both in clothes and household goods. I’m in the process of downsizing and couldn’t think of a better organization to donate to. The proceeds go directly to the community and not to a large organization. I recommend them to all my friends.

The Kiwanis Club of Greater Monroe donated “birthday baskets” to NJRise. The baskets for children were enthusiastically received by a warm and gracious staff at Rise headquarters. Thanks to the generosity of Encore and Rossmoor residents, Kiwanis members made over fifty baskets and a cash donation.

Amazing non-profit that services the community thru the food pantry, thrift shop, school supply drives, holiday gift drive, summer camp, and so much more. The people who work and volunteer here are everyday heroes! Thank you RISE!
