I recently visited this Indian restaurant with moderate expectations, and I left feeling generally satisfied. The service was top-notch our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly.

The food, while not particularly memorable, was honest and authentic. The portions were generous, and the prices were reasonable. We ordered the Pav Bhaji, Tawa pulav, Chinese bhel, masala dosa and dahi puri, all of which were just ok and well-prepared.

While the restaurant's ambiance was special, the warm and welcoming atmosphere made up for it.

Their Pav Bhai is top notch, exactly how it was 30 years ago when I had it in Ahmedabad! The rest of their stuff has dropped off a notch or even two - the aloo tiki chaat and the Dahi puri were way too sweet, the paneer tikka sizzler was not well done and the paneer felt raw and not flavorful, their bahubali sandwich was gooey and too sweet again, way too much sugar in everything! The rabdi was decent…

Honest is a total gem! The service is friendly and welcoming, and the menu has something for everyone. Plus, most dishes can be made Swaminarayan-friendly, which is a huge win! The food is always delicious, and the flavors never disappoint. It's become one of my favorite spots, and I definitely recommend giving it a try!

Best Honest in Nj imo. The food is so tasty and the menu is different than other honest I have been to around NJ. The must try item is paneer toofani. It is my favorite item. The service is also really good as the employees really look after their customers. Also very clean place to eat with outdoor dining in the summer!

An awesome experience at this Honest restaurant! The pav bhaji never disappoints, and the rose mastani was a delightful surprise. Other dishes like paneer chilli, vegetarian Manchurian, and Veg hakka noodles were equally delicious with a desi touch. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Enjoyed the Bollywood songs vibe and ample parking. Takeaway option available too. Overall, had a great time!

Having visited this establishment multiple times, I've consistently found it to be a delightful experience. The food is not only delectable but the service is also commendable.

Standout dishes include Pav Bhaji, Dahi Puri, Manchow Soup, Crispy corn and Gobi Manchurian. Chole Bhature, Paratha, and Choor Choor Naan are decent options as well.

It's worth noting that the spice levels can be on the higher side, especially for kids, even at the mild spice level, which may feel more like medium or above. In comparison to other Honests that we have been to, although they offer a diverse menu, the absence of Thalis is a bit of a disappointment. Overall, it stands out as a fantastic spot for vegetarian Indian cuisine.
