If anyone else has this issue, I’d suggest sending an email to your local grocer. You can simply copy and paste this text:

“Ortega shells are consistently broken since they changed the packaging. Can you please provide new alternatives to Ortega? We won’t buy them anymore.”

The butter flavored Crisco spray spits everywhere when you try to use it. The lid doesn't stay on the can either. This has been this way for a few months, but the new can I just bought is the worst.

I purchased a box of whole grain taco shells and when I went to use them , they were ALL brokrn. Contacted customer service and was told they will not replace , reimburse, or even send a coupon to correct the issue . Now , I had purchssed the product a while ago , and it did take me a number of months to take the time to contact them . The best by date passed by a few weeks at the time of my call , which became the issue. Still , I feel this is not how they should have handled this. Discouraging and disappointing. No more Ortega products for me !!

I like the Ortega taco shells but I experienced broken shells the last two times I purchased them. I tried to reach them on line through their listing and I tried calling with no luck. I'm going to Old El Paso brand!

So I got second degree burns from a B&G Foods aka Green Giant zoodles product due to a package issue. They are telling me that my insurance claims is denied and they are not even paying my medical expenses. I was told to take pictures of the bag which I did the the company rep did not say anything about keeping the bag. A couple days later they ask for the bag and of course by this time I have thrown it out. I am trying to handle without an attorney. Please be aware of this terrible company and how they handle their customers.
