My first time eating from here was about two months ago and the food was ok. Since then, I’ve eaten here three other times. The second time, I had snapper fish with jollof, and the rice seemed old and hard. The third time I went, I had the snapper with black rice and the food was extremely salty. I was not going to go back, but my friend wanted it so I gave them one last chance. (might I add that He’s from the islands and I’m American. The first time he ordered, every other time I ordered. I’ll leave that there) Last night I got the snapper with jollof And we both were throwing up. 30 minutes after eating that food I had to use the bathroom and he was throwing up. I went to sleep and he was back-and-forth in the bathroom all night. This morning I woke up and threw up and have been in the bathroom all morning. I don’t know if I have some sort of food poisoning or what but my stomach feels queasy, and I feel nauseous. The food was overly spicy and overly salty.. I wanted so bad to have a good experience here, but unfortunately, I will not return.

Response to owner: It was definitely from your food. This was the only thing I had to eat all day. Aside from making me sick, it was overly salty and overly spicy. Don’t be so quick to respond without taking accountability. Learn From your mistakes And do better!!! From looking at your other reviews, I see a lot of people saying that the food is too spicy and the rice is old.

The goat light soup and fufu were excellent. I was surprised to see a review mentioning the food was too spicy, many dishes in West African cuisine are meant to be spicy, and what I ordered was perfectly seasoned. I’m looking forward to ordering again.

First time ordering. Food was good. I ordered kenkey and fried fish. I asked for extra salt on the fish and the cook delivered to perfection. One minor issue and this could be due to cultural differences - I usually eat the kenkey with a tomato stew but this time, the “ stew was served raw, like a salsa. I had to cook it at home since this is how I usually eat it. Other than that I loved it. I will be going back and ask them to cook the stew 🙂

Hellen the owner if this restaurant is an amazing person. Her food is exquisite. Her professionalism is top notch. She is a great advisor when it comes to trying to decide what kind of food and quantity to provide for your guests. I used her for my traditional wedding and all my guests were happy. Jollof rice was nice; chicken was seasoned nicely, (but was a bit old and cold); didn’t like the plantains (too mushy).

UPDATE: I spoke to Hellen .She was so nice and understanding and made sure to accommodate for the issues that happened before. If you love Ghanaian food, especially Waakye ,one of the many great foods on her menu ,please don't hesitate to order from Tasti Cuisine ,you will not regret it. Big Thank you to Hellen.

Ordered yesterday,6/15/2024 through Ubereats a very large order for family: 2 orders palava sauce &yam, 2 orders waakye, 2 orders white rice, 1 order whole Fried Tilapia through UberEats.Delivery driver showed up with only one order of Jellof rice chicken plantains, none of which anyone can eat because of food allergies.UberEats kindly refunded me. Because the food is truly delicious and well prepared,Today, 06/16/2024,Father's Day, decided to take another chance with 2 orders of waakye ,2 orders of yam and palava sauce and 1 order of white rice.UberEats delivery driver showed up with two balls of kenkey, one order of beans stew and one order of okro stew none of which my family and I can eat either. I say all this to say that communication and customer service is key in any business.I would of loved it if someone from the restaurant called to acknowledge items are missing or if I desire a replacement rather than to give wrong food.I have had your food before and honestly it's great ! Just don't understand what the issue is.highly disappointed . Sad to say not only have you lost a customer but other people who were expecting to enjoy your food as well.
