I’ve been a loyal customer since your company’s inception. Recently, I visited your office to get a quote and found the front door unlocked. While waiting, I noticed a vape left on the coffee table in the snack area. I moved it to the front counter. To my surprise, I was accused of going behind the reception desk and tampering with items. This accusation was unfounded and deeply upsetting given my long-standing support for the company

I really loved this store.. but now it is a retail outlet for commercial entities and not walk in service anymore.

I suppose this is the best way for the company to manage itself as an asset, in a dying pool of home and hobbyist growers in an unstable economy.

Must say that ordering online is not fun either. There is NO direct communication after purchasing and choosing to pick up from location. You just sit and wait.. no eta or guaranteed time of arrival. Just correspondence such as auto thank you's and adverts.

I am saddened to see this transition!

The Phantom

I used to love this place. Stopped by today to grab a few things I needed only to find out the retail is closed. You now must order online, no more browsing the store for stuff and talking with the employees.

Update: I gave their order online/local pickup option a chance only to be let down. When I ordered two in stock items, the confirmation email said they would inform me when the order would be available for pickup. Fast forward several days without a word from the company, I decided to order the items form Amazon and two days later when they arrived I called Growershouse to cancel the order. While canceling the order the nice lady said to me, "oh yeah I was supposed to call you the other day to come pick this up." I've now completely given up on this place.

GrowersHouse is my go to. For growing supplies, I always compare prices between GrowersHouse, Amazon, Walmart, Lowe's ect. before I make any purchases. And just about every time GH has the best price. Lots of their items have free shipping. Some of the other reviews on here are incredibly entitled. If you want to walk around in a cold warehouse because it's 113 degrees outside. Just go to Costco. When you get back home put your rotisserie chicken away. Now sit down, pull out your phone and go to GrowersHouses easy to use website to make your purchases. I'm appreciative GH still let's us amateurs get in on their discounts. My last order would have cost me $80 more from anyone else. No brainer.

After waiting for hours from a quote from 2 different people that were supposed to take 15 min, I was provided with a quote that had a shipping rate almost $1700 more than their competitor to ship the same thing (see photos). This was after I was told they can beat their competitor's pricing.

Do not use these people, they will try to gouge you any way they can.

This store is great for all your plant growing needs. They used to be a walk in and shop place but now you have to order online and pick up.
