Lately, I am not happy with this shop rite! Twice, gala apples & eggplant I bought were rotten from inside. Cantaloupe was soft & mushy when I cut it. Thankfully, they took those items back & gave a refund. With today's produce prices I just couldn't let it pass. I go to Acme now for fruits.
Also, the store looks like a warehouse now! They stack up paper towels, cereal boxes, toilet tissues, tuna, mayo, you name it, right in front of aisles where people don't have room to move with a cart if someone is coming from opposite direction. The aisles too are so narrow. Don't know how they expect someone who is handicap or elderly, to move about on the scooter?!!! I feel sorry for them.

Bought a $20 cake... as we were celebrating a special event and eating it I realized something gross - a white hair in my mouth!! We then noticed several other white hairs about 8-10inches in length. Super disgusting!! My wife and I both have short brown hair so it definitely didn't come from our household. Tried calling the store immediately after at 7:35pm - no answer. Hoping they'll refund me. If you're from the store and read this then please message back with a resolution.

Used to love this store. Produce poor past few months. Bought a cake that was dry. Aisles rearranged, obviously without much thought. All you hear is people complaining. Ex. Cereal by frozen foods, oatmeal in a different aisle. So disappointed.

I was followed by a female associate by the name of Daniella. I stated excuse me due to she was in my way of what I wanted and she refused to move with her clip board and some papers. I try to call this store approximately 7 times and no one pick up. I left my cart with food and went to another store I absolutely didn't feel safe at all.

Dave in self check out. Wanted to argue with me for 10 minutes as he did the people next to me. In line at the same time, trying to educate us on what we're doing... As he found out, I knew what I was doing. He was wrong and tried to direct me to Customer Service, which was not the issue just more time wasted. Even question me on Digital coupons. When I told him he wrong is wrong he said I don't think so, but he was wrong. I was right...

Worst Shoprite in New Jersey, Never has hot food available. Selection is tiny compared to ever other shop rite. Ask a worker if there's any other selections and he Said what you see is what you get. Wow this location seems like a waste of space. 6pm and I have the only hot food available smh

This is the second time the bakery has screwed up my kids birthday cake/cupcakes. The first time it was fixable and I did not complain, things happen. But this time is ridiculous. I ordered individual cupcakes and instead I got a horrible pull-apart cupcake cake when I asked for individual with specific colored sprinkles and sports rings on each. This had zero design, just plain white icing across the entire cake for my son’s 7th birthday party with ugly unmatched colors, and sprinkles and rings surrounding the edges. It doesn’t even look like a matching cake, makes no sense. I don’t understand how they cannot follow what’s written on the order form. It seems very simple? I’m so disappointed bc we love their cupcakes and cakes, they are so good and it’s perfect for a kids party. But I will no longer be ordering through them anymore since they cannot follow simple written directions.
