I never heard back. I still like Arizona Grass Raised Beef. However, I've determined that their steaks are really good, but the ground beef isn't the best. I tried ground beef from another grass raised source and they were tender and delicious. I would purchase steaks from Arizona Grass Raised beef again. But I'll continue to get the ground beef from the other source.

When I first started purchasing from here, there was great communication. If I had a problem they would get right back to me. But not so much anymore. The last few packages of ground beef that I opened, contained something much harder than gristle. I sent them a message but never got a reply. I just now opened another pack of ground beef and found another piece of something much harder than gristle. I couldn't bend it with my fingers. It is as hard as a rock. I'm pretty sure it's a piece of bone. Had I eaten this, I probably could have damaged a tooth or injured my gums. I'm disappointed that they never got back with me. I'm disappointed that this is the fourth package containing such hard pieces of what is likely bone.

I also want to be fair about something. I'm reading reviews about how tough the beef is. One thing that everyone should understand, is that beef that isn't commercially treated, is different. The beef that's purchased from stores is not the same as clean beef that you get here at AZ Grass. There are a couple things that I learned to cooking it that may be helpful to others. I let the beef thaw by itself in the refrigerator, rather than doing the cold water trick. And while it's thawing I season it and let those seasonings seep into the meat. If it's ground beef, I'll knead it a few times here and there. If it's steak I may let it sit in the seasoning for 24 hours or so. And whether it's ground beef or steak, I often set it on the counter for about an hour before I cook it. I cook the ground beef low and slow. And my steak always seems to be tender, as long as I let it sit in its seasoning for about 24 hours. I now much prefer the type of beef that AZ Grass sells over the store bought brands. And this is still true, even though I've been disappointed lately.

Not sure why all the negative reviews this meat is beyond excellent. The cuts are more the plentiful, and tender. Some people can't be pleased no matter what you do.
I order from them every other month. This is the only place I purchase my beef from.

Excellent products, will continue to purchase

Honestly we are not happy with our order, we ordered box 1 and added couple of extra steaks as additional but the steaks were very tough and chewy not worth it. Rather disappointed , will not buy again!

My boyfriend and I bought 1/4 cow in Oct 23”. I was disappointed with how my order was mixed up but it was rectified and I got my order and I thought I would try all the cuts first before leaving a review. The pros yes it’s grass fed and the packaging is so nice and separated I loved that and that’s it for the pros. Now the cons oh my gosh where to start well the steaks are the toughest steaks I have ever had even the ribeye! The New York strip was ok and tender after tenderizing them again myself but they are so thin. The reason I keep emphasizing that I had to tenderize them is because in the descriptor on it states they tenderize their steaks as well but anyways I expected to get thick steaks like their pictures they share on their reels on IG but they are not thick at all. My boyfriend and I even tenderized it again with a needle tenderizer. The top sirloin is so tough it’s like a hockey puck and we like our steaks medium rare! Some of steaks have so much connective tissue and even pieces of bone fragments. I don’t know if this is just the people they have hired to cut the meat and butcher it but they are not good at it. Every pound of ground beef that we have used has bone fragments in it it’s ridiculous we are pulling them out while we eat! Of course we paid 961.00 so maybe I should have spent more at a different place idk. We will finish this meat off but we will definitely spend more somewhere else next time.

AZ Grass Fed Beef has been blessing our table for almost 3 years now. Comes frozen every time and packages are consistent! I’ve had friends order now in TX, NM, LV and AZ and they all say the same.

Aside from the amazing cuts their customer service is family-like! They make spreading the word of support to these local farms easy.
