To sum it up in one word, awesome experience. The Great Meadow Farm and Market is not just an amazing place but it is a unique one.
Founded and run by the creative team behind the gastronomic oasis of a restaurant, Elements in Princeton, headed by Chef Scott Anderson and Executive Chef Mike Ryan, the Great Meadow offers carefully selected freshly grown produce, from striped eggplant to Japanese Tokyo scallions, from edible flowers to Thai and Lemon basil tops, from Brandywine and Sungold to Pint and Black Cherry tomatoes, locally foraged chanterelles and black trumpets, from tomatilos to sage, garlic chive, chocolate mint, and thyme among other specialties such as potatoes, spring onions, numerous kinds of hot and sweet peppers, turnips, kale and fennel.
The famous Elements breads, their legendary sourdough and spelt, yogurt made on premises, hot sauce, and summer squash hummus are also offered as well as authentic Italian products (extra virgin olive oil in bottles or artisanal ceramic jars by Le Ferre) proudly presented by the amiable host Salvatore Galati. Don't forget to try his own delicious Sal's Chix Mix seasoning.

Visited to see what all the fusses were about. There wasn't much there! Maybe if you are a CSA member your experience would have been different When I went there today the succulents were dying on the display. Not much vegetable on the stand. I was hoping to walk around the farm area but the area was condoned off. I honestly didn't know why I was there. I couldn't recommend it to anyone I know. Maybe I picked the wrong day.

I'm loving my CSA! Each week we get so many fresh and different veggies and herbs that have jazzed up our meals. We've also loved the variety of products available each week. So far we've tried a bit of everything-Hot Sauce (YUM!), Maple Syrup-wow! and the Olive Oil makes you feel like you're in Italy.

Great Meadow Farm & Market has a unique and wonderful array of vegetables, herbs and artisanal products. The CSA shares are beautifully presented and just picked from the fields. I anxiously await the arrival of summer produce and can't wait to see what surprises the chefs and farmers have in store for us throughout the season. I highly recommend Great Meadow Farm for discriminating cooks and palates!

Great Meadow farm is a hidden GEM! The CSA boxes are wonderful and we absolutely love all of the additional treats that are available in the market. Sal, Beth and the team always go above and beyond to bring the highest quality in everything that they do!!!

One of the few places that lives up to its reputation. Monster squash, amazing blueberries, and even a variety of peppers for those of us living the spicy life. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for quality ingredients and nice people.

If you like fresh organic produce, you’ll love this place. The farm share portions are a bit smaller than in the good old z farm days but still totally worth it.

Sal and Beth (the owners) are the nicest people and have done a great job restarting this organic farm. I'm so glad I was able to join the CSA this summer.
