The Catalina Plant Co. was super cool! Great selection of succulents and tropicals! Plant fanatics will have fun at this shop for sure! I was blown away by plants! A lot of plants I don't usually see at plant stores locally which were in stock at Catalina Plant Co. The plants were in great condition also! The owner Chris was super knowledgable, helpful, and friendly. I enjoyed his assistance very much talking about different types of plants; which would best work for my living situation! I appreciated his attention to detail and learned some new care tips that I never thought of. I highly recommend checking out The Catalina Plant Co!

Hands down my favorite plant shop in Chicago! We drive 45 minutes to visit the store regularly. While there are other stores closer, Catalina always has the best selection, as well as the best looking plants! The owner was even able to find me a massive syngonium chiapense on request, and it is one of my absolute favorite plants! ❤️

This is one of my favorite plant shops anywhere, let alone just Chicago. The staff is incredibly helpful if you have any questions, are highly knowledgeable, and love to just talk plants. They also host fun activities/classes every wo often. My partner and I did the staghorn fern mounting class and had so much fun. They post them on social so that's the best way to find out when they will have the next one. Just do yourself a favor and go say hi.

I am a plant newbie so I was delighted when I came upon this lovely shop when I was walking my dog one day! Chris (the owner) is SO helpful and didn’t make me feel dumb for literally not knowing anything about plants. He helped me pick out three beauties that are pet friendly and fairly easy to manage. Love this shop and highly recommend stopping by and supporting this local business. Plus they have PARKING!

Love this place! Affordable, beautiful, interesting plants. They just bought the space next door and decked it out. They're doing byob pot painting classes, yoga classes and expanding their repertoire quickly. Absolutely highly recommended. Owner went above and beyond for us!

This guy clearly cares about his beautiful selection of plants!! Knowledgeable and super helpful when it came to any questions I had! Love the atmosphere. Great little plant shop with a really good selection of plants. The owner, Chris, was very welcoming and you can tell he takes pride in his shop. I’m a serial plant killer and he gave me some care tips. I love the plants I bought today, they’re healthy and beautiful.
