Mead's is my go to for cemetery crocks, gardening supplies and even fun local gifts. The entire staff is friendly and helpful. It's so fun to shop here!

This greenhouse has a wide variety of annuals, perennials, trees and shrubs. This was our first visit and I purchased over $200.00 worth of plant material all of which are great. However, when my hubby paid with our debit card, we were charged an additional $5.11 for card servicing fees. Neither of us saw a sign nor did our cashier mention the fee. We were very disappointed once we saw this on the receipt. Unfortunately, we will not be back.
Just an edit to my original post. The new guinea impatiens I purchased were not properly hardened off so they now are scraggly and terrible looking. Forget Meads and go to Farmer Fred's in Towanda. Not only do they have a much wider variety of plant material they Do Not pass their debit card fees on to their customers.

Beautiful garden center!!! A wide variety of plants and trees and shrubs of all kinds. All in great condition just ready to take home. The owners and staff were very helpful with questions. They also had some gorgeous vegetables and fruit. There were some nice planters and nic nacs to choose from. Will definitely be going back for more purchases.

I really like this place. The owners are always looking to help you. Thire selection of plants, vegetables, are top notch. ( plants won't be dead when you get them home.) The prices are reasonable. They are adding and expanding the business to fit your needs in gardening and decor.

Nice place just outside Mansfield PA. A lot to choose from. Found some shrubs here that we was looking all over for a while. Reasonably priced.
