This 3.5 acre vibrant community farm is tended by Philly neighbors, volunteers and high school interns. The farm includes an orchard, nursery, greenhouse, community garden and compost section. There's a seasonal farmer's market on Thursdays and a little education center building. When we visited, the community was doing some weeding, harvesting and enjoying the farm's bounty together. For a small fee, Southwest Philly residents can get a plot in their community garden.

The garden is part of an experience that you to partake in knowing the national history of Philadelphia. The area is a beautiful river side spot perfect for farms in the local community grows together. You can find many natural and native plants they were fine only in America and people are so gross and a large community area that’s about an acre large there’s definitely a bunch of vendors here and picnic areas and garden stuff that will blow your mind. Definitely come here with family has it is a wonderful place to sit and have a picnic and check out the area there’s always something to do and always people to hang out with and that is the awesome thing about life and you can easily find a way to pick up the garbage that be nice people
