I have so many great things to say about this shop that I dont know where to start. A true gem here in Havertown. Beautiful, vibrant plants for your home. Creative and meaningful gifts, with such a welcoming and warm environment. Honestly I would come here every day if I could. Support this amazing business!

UPDATE they opened a coffee shop and bookstore on the other side of the space and it’s the coziest, most incredible little spot in the area!!! Come here for all the important things.. plants, coffee, books!

Great selection of goodies but only complaint is for the "blind date with a book option". My friend and I both got a surprise book and it was $17 for each book that was common and used. I would rather pay more for a new, recently published book that I most likely havent read yet. Store is cozy though and everyone in the store was kind

Plant Roots Local is an absolute gem! They have an amazing selection of plants, pots, jewelry, gifts, and home decor. I attended their wreath-making workshop and had a blast. Gina, the owner, is an absolute doll, and the staff are fabulous. Gina’s expertise shines through, and the quality of items in the store is top-notch. I’ve introduced several friends and family to Plant Roots Local, and everyone has been captivated by the store’s beauty and the exceptional products. Highly recommend this place!

I recently went to Plant Roots Local for repotting of house plants. These plants were gifts as I do not have a green thumb. Prior to the visit, I called to inquire about repotting service and I had a very insightful conversation with Genia who invited me into the store for further diagnosis of my plant issues. When I went to the shop, Sophia and Carlina were very helpful. They educated me on how to care for my plant including factors to consider for watering needs. The atmosphere of the shop was calm, relaxing, and peaceful. Other customers were friendly and engaging. One person in particular shared her positive experience as an established customer. Genia, Sophia, and Carlina were all kind, patient, and encouraging. My poor plants were on the verge of death prior to the visit but they have been revived! I highly recommend Plant Roots Local for all of your plant care needs and I certainly plan to return for additional services!

Just found this gem of a store when I needed a special plant looked at. They repotted it for me and gave me directions on how to best take care of it. I thought the price was a real bargain, since I was nervous to repot it myself. They also had a bunch of amazing plants for sale. Definitely the place to go to get quality house plants!
