This was my first time at a county fair in many many years. Westchester if you are seeing this, please bring back the fair. Most of the attractions did not open till later in the day. We left for a few hours and came back. Lots of parking, but lots of cars. We went the day when kids under 12 were free and kids 12 to 18 were $3. Lots of vendors, rides, games, and food. A lot of the food was surprisingly inexpensive. My favorite was the fried Twinkie followed by the fried pork tenderloin sandwich. There were also live shows at the grand stand. There were also live animals in the petting zoo and other events. Overall a great experience. Tonight is the last night so I suggest go if you are thinking about it. Looking forward to my next county fair.

The Rockingham County Fair is one of the best fairs in the state of Virginia, and one of the largest. It features a tremendous display of animals, vendors, food, crafts, entertainment, and rides. I try to go every year and still never fully experience all the fair has to offer. Be sure to visit next time they are open.

Always have a great time at the Fair!! Favorite part is the Demolition Derby. Good shows, great memories made with the kids, but wish there was more adult rides though

We attend this every year and enjoy the animal showing and the fried chicken..we miss the corn and hope it comes back!

The food was ok, though I didn't search around for better food. I enjoyed the animals, but it's become more about money, with all the rides and food that was a part of the company that was a part of the fair being expensive and a money trap. I also went to one of the most crowded times, Saturday afternoon and evening, so that contributed to my discontent as well.

We visited the Rockingham County Fair for the first time this evening. We were thankful for the Senior's discount. We enjoyed the rodeo, especially the ladies barrel racing. The announcers jokes were sometimes crude and suggestive, which was inappropriate for the children in attendance. Additionally we were disappointed that some folks chose to smoke at the fair and in the presence of children.
