We had the most amazing server who was kind, helpful, and on top of things. She went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. We got the carribean chicken and the orange pineapple salmon. The chicken was amazing and the salmon was the best salmon we had ever had!!! It tasted like it was smoked and grilled at the same time - so fantastic!

My fiancé and I went to Silk Mill for a dinner date and had a terrible experience. The restaurant was only about half full not even. We waited several minutes for our waitress to come to our table and when she finally did she didn’t introduce herself or anything just asked “what y’all want to drink?” we got waters and i ordered their “special” blueberry bold rock cider and she tried to correct me like i didn’t know what i was talking about. but i could barely get the words out before she said “need ID”. I thought it was a new draft beer but when she came back to the table she set a bold rock bottle in front of me. $6 for that when i know i could’ve bought a whole case of that at the store. We then ordered our food (crab dip, chicken sandwich with side salad, and a cheesesteak with fries). crab dip came out fine but then we waited over 45 mins for our food! When the waitress finally came out with our food, she just sat it in front of us and walked away. His chicken sandwich was okay but my cheesesteak came out with the bun on the side and the cheesesteak with peppers and onions in a separate pan, meaning i have to assemble it myself. My fries were also cold! I sat with that untouched cheesesteak and fries in front of me forever before the waitress came back to the table and when she did she asked “need a box” I complained about the presentation of the cheesesteak and the fries being cold and she talked to her manager and said they can get me new fries but couldn’t do anything about the cheesesteak because that’s “just the way they do it”. still had to pay for the whole meal. Service was terrible. The waitress was like never around and not helpful and nice.

Took over an hour to get our food and when we did get part of it was cold. Had to send back n reheat in microwave . Crab cake was pan fried with no flavor, when broiled was ordered. Husband ordered Scallops off the special menu. . What an embarrassment! And for them to charge $24 for this!! No bigger than a dime and tough as shoe leather. Cheesesteak sandwich came that you had to put together yourself? Seriously?

We were shocked to see a 4.3 on this wonderful place! Friendly staff, delicious homemade food - all of it!

I had the most fresh, perfectly prepared scallops with delicious real mashed potatoes and also super fresh salad. Husband had a huge portion of meatloaf and fries with homemade gravy! Lovely old mill atmosphere! We rode down from Martinsburg, WV and it was well worth the trip!

Then I read people giving 1star because they had to wait a minute or their favorite wasn't available at the time they wanted it. Come on, now!!

This place needs 5 stars!!

I’m a long time customer of this restaurant. We went tonight as a group of 11. Have spent a lot of money for many family outings. Went tonight for dinner and ordered the scallops which were a special for the night (also a lot of appetizers for the whole table). My meal came with a baked potato and soup or salad. I chose the soup. My scallops were bad(not the cooks fault. They were horrible smelling and tasted foul). First time this has ever happened to me. I’ve never had to send anything back here. The server asked me if I’d like anything else. I said no thank you. One bite had turned my stomach. When the bill came they had taken my scallops off the check, but made me pay for the baked potato which I didn’t even eat but a bite and the soup(which I did eat). Considering those came with the dinner, it was ridiculous that I was charged. When I asked the waitress she said her manager made her do it and there was nothing she could do about it. After paying a bill close to 250 and they refused to take two things off that came with the meal, we will no longer be going back. You need to do better with loyal and longtime town customers. What a huge disappointment.

The storefront to this restaurant does not do it justice! Inside is an array of decor that invokes a vintage industrial feel. Visited a few days ago for dinner and had too many good choices, but opted for the French onion soup as my side for the Silk Mill Grillers with shrimp. It was delicious and too much to finish. Our server was polite and friendly and timed her visits to the table well. Glad we stopped in and I’d recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Everything here is absolutely delicious. We went with our life group for a birthday party. Party of 9 and Beth was our server. We kept her very busy running with appetizers....drinks and entrees. She kept up beautifully. Crab dip....Buffalo shrimp...cheese fries....salmon.....french onion soup....salad.....cheeseburger....steak...baked potatoes......shrimp scampi.....and then galaxy cake and blackberry cobbler for desserts.......my goodness it was just absolutely amazing. Everyone enjoyed everything!!!!!! We love coming here and we will definitely be back. Wonderful atmosphere. And Erin makes the best margaritas 🍹

Went for dinner while in town for work. Nice restaurant with a lot of machinery and tools from the mill era. Atmosphere was nice. Order the scallops with a side of rice. Was prepared well and did the job nicely.
