My husband and I stopped here on a whim and really enjoyed the beer. We didn’t realize that they had just opened! The brewery is colocated with the winery, and both the interior and the grounds are nice and well-kept. We were even able to bring our (leashed) dog! They’re still getting things up and running, but we will definitely be stopping by next time we’re in the area.

Today was my first visit here, and I was not disappointed. The beer, food, service, and atmosphere were great, and I really enjoyed the experience from start to finish. With tours, a winery, and a gift shop all here as well, there's certainly plenty to do, and I will definitely be back. Also, I heard that one of the brewmasters is facing a health challenge, so we are sending our best thoughts and prayers for him. If you haven't been here, do yourself a favor and check this place out as there is plenty to take in and enjoy and a little something for just about everyone.

Great beer, & good food. I love a good wheat beer, but I have found that they are few and far between. Tap 29 gets the wheat beer right, and many other good beers as well. Next time I pass through I’ll be refilling 3-4 growlers. The atmosphere seemed quaint, but we came through during lunch on a weekday. I also noticed a self guided tour behind the gift shop; we have added this to our to do list on another trip.

Other wineries and breweries in the area out perform Tap 29. The substantial venue and outdoor space is let down by mediocre wine, limited beer, and disappointing food. Not a complete bust, but would not recommend with so many other competitive businesses nearby.

I’ve been to Tap 29 twice but haven’t had a beer yet. Arrived for the soft opening (a weekend prior to their grand opening) only to discover their beer was flat and they weren’t going to open. No notice posted on their Website. Yesterday I drove up to try the beer and get lunch. Brewery only had 4 of their beers on tap. No IPA or Stout. Disappointing.

Very nice setting in the country. Right on 29 , just south of Culpeper. Enjoyed the music by the Joker band. Cold beer, great food and good music. Very relaxing! See you again..

Pretty good spot, a bit more upscale and more of a winery than a brewery but a beautiful venue. Few selections of brew but wine slushies are good.

Had the milk stout (2) and the 8” pepperoni. Watched UVA win in OT vs Wake Forest. Listened to Chris Hanks play guitar. Thank you Prince Michel.
