Small little elegant place in downtown that makes you feel like you’ve flown to Europe when you walk in the door. Very upscale, clean, inviting, and staff treated us immediately and all the staff was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Our server knew every inch of place and menu.

Food was picture perfect cooked amazingly and seasoned fantastic. The charcuterie board was diverse and delicious.

The deserts were delicious and as non drinkers it was great that the nonalcoholic options were as elegant as the rest.

The evening was fantastic and my mother truly enjoyed celebrating her 80th birthday here!

While vacationing in Bradenton, my husband insisted we dine at Chateau 13, a place he’d visited before and couldn’t stop raving about—and now I see why. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere struck a perfect balance between cozy romance and lively energy. It felt upscale yet vibrant, ideal for both a date night or a special occasion.

We opted for the tasting menu, which turned out to be a fantastic way to experience a variety of dishes. The steak tartare was expertly prepared, fresh, and full of flavor. The French Caesar salad had a refined twist that elevated the classic dish. My salmon was beautifully cooked, delicate, and perfectly complemented by the wine pairing.

Speaking of wine—every pour was perfectly curated to match the flavors of each dish. The wine list is clearly chosen with care and expertise. My husband, who had been here before, couldn’t resist ordering the burger again—he swore it was one of the best he’s ever had, and judging by his expression, it didn’t disappoint the second time around.

The dessert was the perfect finale—decadent and delicious. Service throughout the night was warm, attentive, and seamless. Besides the amazing food and wine, Jen, Jen and the wizard of a chef are truly what make this place standout.

Chateau 13 is absolutely a gem. We can’t wait to return.

At first sight, it’s not much to see but once you get inside the experience begins. Service from top to bottom is elite — the manager introduced herself by name before we sat down and we had a seamless transition from checking in to getting our table. Make reservations ahead of time. The restaurant is divided into two main parts: bar/lounge and restaurant with a wall dividing the two. The place is overall “small” but it creates an intimate and well balanced atmosphere that my fiancée and I got lost in for the whole night.

Our server Doug was also particularly memorable. From the very beginning he made us feel welcomed and valued, he was knowledgeable about the history of the place and their previous (and obviously current) menus. My fiancée and I noticed a few dishes that jumped off the pages at us and we left the rest to Doug who complimented our dishes with not only fantastic sides and desserts but with dinner/dessert wines as well! He crushed it!!

We had unbelievable dishes and struck gold with our server too! Can’t wait to go back for our anniversary!

Lived up to every expectation we had. The place is beautiful, staff wonderful and food amazing. Sitting at the bar was the way to go. It let us see into the kitchen, ask wine and food questions and engage with the staff. The level of service was spectacular. It’s also a wine lovers dream. And the quality of food is second to none. Their charcuterie plates are a must and the burger was one of the best we’ve ever had. Both featured foie gras and created one of the best meals we’ve ever had. Chateau 13 is simply an exceptional dining experience!

We love this place and the staff! They care that you're there and are very attentive. They are also very knowledgeable about wines and what pairs well with the food. We usually get the mussels and frittes and the filet, but this time, I ordered their AMAZING burger. The frittes are awesome!

Our waiter Mike was wonderful. He had several tables to serve but didn’t seem rushed at all, answering questions with good information. His knowledge of wine was exceptional. The room unfortunately is relatively small so it seemed noisy. We will however return to this fine dining experience.

We spent our anniversary at Chateau 13 and it was a lovely fine dining experience. The atmosphere is really beautiful. Our service was exceptional by Doug. The entire staff work so well together making everything just perfect. We decided to do lighter bites rather than dinner. We enjoyed the Charcuterie board with added Foie Gras that was delicious, Cesar salad and Potage aux Légumes (a delightful vegetable bisque). We ended with their Creme Brûlée, it is orange flavored with fresh fruit. To celebrate our anniversary they sent two glasses of champagne. We will definitely be back!

Myself and my partner went for dinner here last night (Friday). We hadn't reserved and they were very busy, the lovely owner went out of her way to make space for us. The ambience, drinks, service and food were amazing. It is a great representation of French cuisine and we will be coming back lots, thanks for a brilliant night!
