Great way to get up close with a wide variety of desert plants and animals. We took a peaceful afternoon stroll and were joined by lizards, hummingbirds, and butterflies.

We came here with our dog to enjoy a nice walk, and were absolutely enamored with the beautiful setting they've constructed. We learned about new, beautiful plants native to our area, and saw wonderful art peeking out between the leaves. There's even a community garden in the center of the park. Absolutely a wonderful experience.

The best hidden gem! The gardeners have real pride and it shows! Nice shaded walking paths, lots of seating and relaxing areas. Water fountain for people and dogs. They actually sell plants and soil. Phenomenal place, maybe my current favorite place on earth to unwind, and enjoy the beauty of nature and these gardens.

This desert garden was amazing and perfect for visitors to the area to learn about native plants. Beautiful plants, beautiful plantings, and signs marking what many of the plants are.
There are plenty of occasional benches throughout the gardens. There was also a picnic area with a picnic table or two if you want to bring your lunch.
Many birds were present and the garden offered printed brochures listing all the possible birds and highlighting the common birds of the area. Our middle schooler enjoyed checking them off as we saw them.
The trails through the garden (and in the labyrinth) are small gravel and firm enough for a wheelchair or scooter. The ground is slightly uneven, however, for folks that are challenged with walking on uneven terrain.
There were extended trails that went out from the garden, but I never saw any kind of map for how far they went or where they went. We followed one for about 20 minutes and then turned around because that fit our time window. It would be nice if the garden had a map or more information about the extended walking trails. That said, there were many people walking on the extended trails!
