Lunch there is always good except today’s. Sides were cold and fried chicken undercooked.

The ONLY grocery store inside the downtown area. I just hate that they don't ensure parking is for shoppers. A bunch of hoity-toity up-tight bougie tarts too lazy to find a parking place elsewhere take up parking places here just to run across the street to the dance studio. Try walking a block instead of blocking parking for a grocery store. People have buggies and stuff and need to load up. All you're loading is your ego and entitled kids so move your Lexus or beamers on down the block. Check out this darling red car taking up two parking spots. What a dummy.

Sitting here and enjoying the weather under a patio umbrella off on one of the main thoroughfares in Fairhope. Great draft selections (pints and growler fills)and a nice smattering of packaged regional beers. Also worth a visit for the wine and spirit selection and, of course, the groceries. The deli staff was extremely helpful in considering my needs for cold beverages and chicken tenders.

I have been in this store three times since moving here. I usually use the self-checkout but today the cashier was just standing and doing nothing so I decided to put her to work. She scanned all of my items and bagged them. The young lady didn't take the time to make sure I could reach my bags and after she noticed me reaching for my bags she ignored me. I had to ask her to push the remaining bags towards me. She had another customer who after she completed his order handed his bags to him. That was the worst customer service from cashier 0801. The Greer's Market in downtown Fairhope has that small hometown family atmosphere, with very warm and friendly employees who go the extra mile to please their customers. Their selections are Excellent in every area and way! As a blind person, I so thankful for how the employees assist me with finding the groceries I need and they remember me and my name. Their Middle Bay Deli is amazing with delicious Home Cooked and ready to eat meals! Thank you to, Ms. Gay, who is always so caring and helpful to me! Everyone is always so hospitable and kind to me!

I love the non-walmart stores around here. Sure the cost may be little more, but it's worth it to me to support my communities, not just a fortune 50 corporation who doesn't give a damn about anyone or anything. I like the atmosphere, and I enjoy seeing people around that are willing to help, especially seeing cashier's instead of self checkout lanes. This particular store is smaller in size compared to others, but it's still a fun one.

Please everyone start supporting the smaller guys, leave the walmarts alone, they don't value you/us/employees/community. There's a misconception that your gonna save so much money at walmart, and in the end that's not true. It will cost us more than you realize.
