Lartigue Seafood Market is hands-down one of the best seafood spots I’ve ever visited! From the moment I walked in, I could tell everything was incredibly fresh. The shrimp, oysters, and crab legs tasted like they had just come off the boat. Every bite had that unmistakable fresh-caught flavor you can only get when the seafood is top quality.

The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what they do. They even gave me a few tips on how to cook the fish I bought—and it turned out amazing.

If you’re anywhere near the area, do yourself a favor and stop by Lartigue. Whether you’re cooking at home or grabbing something ready to eat, you won’t be disappointed. This place is a true gem!

Excellent seafood gumbo and chicken & sausage gumbo! Really good flavor. Crawfish were awesome! Just the right amount of spice. Shrimp were really tasty and fresh as well. They will cook anything for you right there or warm it up for you. Mr. Lartigue and his staff were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back!

Absolutely fantastic! The customer service is that only found in the locally owned business of our gulf coast communities! The young man that waited on me was so informative about which crab meat is better suited for the fish I was preparing, and it turned out amazing! Thank you so much for incredible customer service and fantastic gulf coast seafood!

We got some crawfish & gumbo here. While the crawfish were ok - they were lacking in flavor... as were the corn and potatoes. They do have a big selection of freezer foods as well as fresh fish and seafood. My husband said the gumbo was ok, but not great for the price.

I had an issue with the shrimp I Purchased the day before. I called the store, I was informed to bring them for a refund. When I got to the store in Fairhope, the owner of the store was extremely rude and insulting. I was told “I did not know how to peel shrimp“ and never to buy shrimp again in his store All the while, shaking his finger in my face. I told him I would not be back. The owner then stormed off in the back of the store. The embarrassed employees were left to return my refund. I apologize for them for the owner and left the store. It was a terrific way for an owner to treat a customer. Whatever happened to the customer is always right.
