My friend wanted curried goat, and we decided to give this food truck a chance. The service wasn't the best. Confusing that you have to pay inside at the grocery store, then walk back out to give your order and ticket without any instructions to do so. The wait was so long. The food didn't disappoint, thankfully. I had the brownfish with cabbage and plantains. My friend had curried goat with rice and peas and plantains.

Please get back to me I’ve been trying to call but the phone seems to not be in service and I’m not able to get to the shop rn. The pigtail I bought seems to have mold on it

I am a doordash deliverer. I was here at early lunch to pick up an order. It smelled so good I decided to return during my own lunch break. I am so glad I did! The staff was super friendly and the food was phenomenal. I had the stew pork with rice and cabbage. That is some of the best pork I've ever had. It was melt in your mouth tender. The portions are really large. I will be enjoying the rest of mine for lunch tomorrow. I highly recommend M&R Caribbean, and will be making it a regular stop on my route.

Great food on the fly, to go only, The oxtail is fire. Lots of spices, produce essential oils, detox products, etc. Great place for something different!

So I popped by since I've been itching to try this place along with other locals eateries. I decided on something basic to get me started with their menu. I chose the two meat and two sides option and went with the curry chicken, jerk chicken, red beans and rice, and steamed vegetables.

Let me be up front and say that the flavor and proportions are very good. I was very impressed by how much they filled our take-out box. Now the not-so-good... we could not finish our food. The curry chicken that they gave us was so full of little shards of bone that we had to be incredibly meticulous with every bite and chew for a while to make sure we weren't ingesting any bone fragments. It got to the point where we just lost interest entirely and stopped eating. The jerk chicken was kind of the same way but not nearly as bad (regarding bone and bone related viscera). Again, the flavor itself was good, we just couldn't justify finishing it.

It's a little weird that you have to order and pay in the store instead of at the food truck but I'll chock it up to it just being a quirk rather than something that needs fixing.

The store had a really bad smell that definitely needs attention. Very fishy and not the good kind imo.

I can't recommend this place in it's current state. Maybe the other more fringe menu options are much better but I'll never find out.

I ordered snapper from a food service. They sent fish frozen wrapped in sealed bag. It was supposed to be cooked food! Later, after opening bag to inspect, my daughter found it had head and eyeball! I do not know if it was even cleaned! Anyway, they keep a frozen food store, as well as a food truck, so I would definitely go there - you cannot tell cooked items from raw items because they do not label everything correctly. Know before you buy! And they should have separate grocery listing from prepared food.

Oxtails were delicious! Serving size was great for the price! Had two meals as I could not finish in one sitting. Will definitely be coming back!
