When it's very windy, they should divert the flights, because then incidents like PenAir flight 3296 wouldn't have happened. Very unsafe airport.

Very Nice Local Airport with vending machine to get something to snack on or drinks while you are waiting for your flight. Around 11:00am the Airport Restaurant opens and you have a wide variety of food to choose from American, Vietnamese, Philipino dishes. Great short term and long term parking.

Convenient, served by pen air. Reccomend using alaskan miles to fly between Unalaska and Anchorage. The round trip prices can become expensive.
