Has a lot of equipment, indoor track, basketball court, turf. Place is big enough that it doesn't feel crowded. Only negative is the building is pretty old and some parts look like it's falling apart.

This place is awesome! It is located on Eielson AFB, so you must have base access in some form to utilize the Field House. Indoor soccer field, basketball court, batting cage, classrooms / meeting spaces, and enough excersize equipment around the entire facility to never have to wait.

I Go to the gym 6 days a week and have been here for three years. The weights are everywhere and in no order anywhere but the CrossFit area/ Extremely common to find a 25 pound plate behind a 100 pounder. If you wanna use field it's a 50/50 shot it's occupied by a whole team. For some reason there is only one leg extension machine and like 7 calf raise machines no one uses so you're battling for the one leg extension. All the benches are ripped to shreds in the dumbbell room. Holes in the floor by All the deadlifting pads under the mats. Good luck getting any sort of workout in during red flag when there are 800 marines on top of all the regular gym goers. Few decent barbells. If there isn't only one variation of machine there are two of totally different brands one significantly worse than the other. Will often catch yourself walking between areas hoping a machine bench or rack is available. Which takes quite some time because most things are very spread out. God forbid one of the two machines that work a muscle group break because it will take an actual year for it to get fixed. I mean the base itself if just a bummer everything closes so early and this is just the cherry on top. Definitely the Most underwhelming gym I have been to compared to other based.

This gym is nice (and the staff is always helpful). It has different weight rooms and enough equipment to complete a good workout (different types of workouts for that matter). The locker room is not bad at all. The gym is usually busier during lunch time, but that's pretty standard for a base. The only thing that is annoying is the pool schedule. I have never seen it open and everyone jokes about it being just there for show. However, lately I have seen Facebook posts from the FSS announcing the pool schedule. Hopefully it will continue to open. It is nice to have a pool on base but nicer if we are able to use it haha

Nothing less than a solid gym. Cant think of anything this facility doesn’t have. Indoor multi use turf field, elevated compact track, indoor pool, locker rooms, phone lockers and the list goes on. 100% recommend

One of the better gyms I've been to in the Air Force. Equipment is fairly modern and generally in good condition. Staff is helpful, and facilities are well maintained. The pool is a nice bonus, and always a pleasant temperature.

The gym isn’t bad for being in the middle of Alaska. The only thing I don’t care for is where things are placed. Just a personal preference. Other the that staff is always polite and keep the gym clean.

Field house portion is awesome, but the rest of the facility is out dated and worn out. Like other things on Eielson, it seems like this base is an after thought when it comes to Congress investment into the infrastructure and quality of life for Eielson.
