Very smart concept! Great hardworking people! Plentiful and beautiful land. This community is unlike anything else you’ve heard of. If you want the off-grid privacy, sustainability with the goal of self reliance and personal responsibility, but with the safety and security of like-minded neighbors who you can trust and count on, this is it. Nothing about being off-grid is easy, but if you have the ability to make this a reality I can’t think of anywhere better.

My wife and our 2 young children took the drive to check the place out. All good experiences. Google maps decided to take us the scenic route thru some off roading dirt roads, but if it they can calibrate the roads to the maps right it's really not that hard to get to. The people there were great and took the time to answer all if our questions and then show us around. Very beautiful area.
Our son loved playing with the pet bunnies.
If we decide to go this route we will for sure deeply consider the Cosler Cove off grid community.

I went on a tour of the Coslor Cove property a few weeks ago. It is a beautiful spot with unlimited potential for self sufficient community living. We had a thorough tour, and plenty of time for all questions to be answered. These people have a vision and a plan and they are working it! It’s not about making money for a developer. It’s a cooperative venture to make self-sufficient living a reality for anyone who has the desire to put their shoulder to the wheel and work for it!

I thoroughly enjoyed my tour of Coslor Cove! The current systems already in place are impressive. I see the vision and potential and highly recommend it to any interested in off-grid, cooperative living. The resources that have been laid out by the OSR community are comprehensive and well thought out. Having those resources available would make all the difference to those hesitant to go for it. If you're serious about really taking the leap of faith in going off-grid, doing it in this community would definitely make it easier.

GREAT place to learn how to live off-grid. The founders are so kind and generous, and really want to see you succeed. We've been looking for places to live off-grid and be self-reliant, and this place was the only one that checked almost all the boxes (we wanted a bit more acreage, but it wasn't a deal breaker). RE roads: they ARE rough, but we've been able to go out there multiple times with our 2-wheel drive truck. Personally know of 26' Uhaul moving trucks that have made it out there multiple times as well. Yes, an ATV would be WAY more fun to drive out there, but it's not necessary. 😉
