Absolutely some of the best Korean food I’ve ever had. Everything is so full of flavor and textures are excellent. They only use high quality meats here! It’s a new owner that took over with her mom doing all the cooking for the last year. Trust me the quality and taste is sooo good. You must come here for Korean food! Yes the prices are not what I would call cheap, but they explained that the quality of products they use are the reason. You can taste it!

I recently visited Chodang this past weekend and was really disappointed. While I had high hopes based on a previous experience the portions have become shockingly small for the price. I ordered soy sauce raw crab which is what brought us back to the restaurant. Before, this dish was very good and the portion size was much bigger than currently. I have attached a picture of the to go portion they gave us. Imagine receiving this portion of crab and being charged 45$... As soon as I got the to go container from the server, I knew that there was something wrong. I brought my concern immediately to the server and ask if there is anything they can do as this crab portion wasn’t like this before. They said that the portions has always been like this. I expressed that I am very disappointed with this dish & request a refund if they cannot do anything about the portion instead and will give back to to go bag. They denied my refund request or being able to do anything about this. I am very disappointed with there dish and will not be returning to this restaurant anymore. I’d suggest looking elsewhere, as the portions here simply don’t match the steep prices. The crab this time was also way too salty so the quality has also decreased significantly.

I love this place. My best friend took me here for my b day. He told me to try the bulgogi. Wow. It was amazing. I love it. So tasty and had just the right amount of heat. The owner came over and we chatted for a while. She was great and informative. I can tell she is passionate about her restaurant. I will tell all of my friends to come here.

One of the best Korean restaurant in the valley where you can get a hot stone bowl tofu soup with an egg while the soup is still boiling. Or my favorite satay squid with vegetable soak in traditional Korean red sauce make sure you ask for extra napkin because it could get pretty spicy and don’t let me start on the short ribs. The best way to go is take friends and family so everybody can try a little bit of everything because of portion is huge. Love this place ?

Chodang Tofu Restaurant never fails to satisfy my craving for authentic Korean food. Their soft tofu soup is simply irresistible; it's a comfort blanket on particularly cold, desert nights. I also love their Bulgogi and seafood pancake!

New owner changed their menu & got rid of their classic clam/tofu soup & mushroom/tofu soup & raised prices.?
Ordered the beef bone broth with clear noodles. It's pretty decent, it comes with purple rice.
Owner was our server was a bit short/rude with us.
However, when she served the other Korean tables, she laughed/joked & was extremely nice to them. Doubt it's a language barrier as her English was fine.
If we return, maybe I should speak to her in Korean instead...

They have the best Budae Chigae I've ever had ? Also recommend the fried kimchi dumpling, they were sooooo good!! Thank you to the unni that served us and her mom! Delicious food and very friendly ❤️ 감사합니다!
