Tammy and her sons are the best. We began going here two years ago and since day one Tammy has been a wealth of knowledge. We started with a dog and now have a small ranch that Tammy has helped educate me along the way. Her sons are such gentlemen and always load my truck for me. Best feed store in town. They care about you and your animals and it shows. Keep up the great work!

Because 5 stars isn't good enough of a rating for this wonderful amazing business owner and her husband and kids. When i started to use this place it was back in February of 2017 i didn't know about this place at all i hadn't know that it had been taken over by new ownership, however i proceeded to call and ask if they had the hay i fed my horses they didn't unfortunately at the time carry it but they took my name and number down and said they would call me when they did in a couple of weeks. Well exactly a couple of weeks went by and she brought the hay in. Tammy and her husband and their sons were who i started seeing more and more on the basis, the great thing about Tammy's store is that this woman will always go above and beyond for her customers because she loves them just that much, if you are a county employee or a government employee she gives you a discount for it and to top it off she will go out of her way for you to get you what your looking for at a reasonable price. She always has animals around her and is one of the most amazing people i know, she's even stayed open late for me a couple times for me to get hay for my horses and if shes out she has them delivered to me. I can honestly say that Tammy is the only person who in the past year has gotten my business for all my horses needs and i think she knows that very well. Myself and my Fiance refuse to go to anyone else other than Tammy because shes just that awesome of a person and has an amazing family run business.

I like their customer service (except lack of masks). Their prices are comparable to other feed stores; way cheaper than Kahoots. Plenty of selection, for any and every pet or livestock. Lots of large bag options.

We just got into raising chicks and the wealth of knowledge Tammy and her sons have provided us along the way have helped us confidently transition from 6 to 31 chicks of all varieties. We are now looking long-term towards pursuing farm-to-table chicken and starter pullets for eggs! We are so excited to pick up our new babies tomorrow!

I've been coming to this place for about a year now. I've been to most the other places in the immediate area of alpine and surrounding. This place is now my favorite. They try to go above and beyond. They are very responsive to requests and questions I've had. I really appreciate them. Even during our fire evacuation they were trying to get hay out to the people who needed it. But i think law enforcement was inhibiting them, so if you didn't get your hay it's not cuz they weren't trying. I saw them trying!!! That says a lot.

Amazing store with really nice people! I live in Point Loma San Diego which is about 40 or 50 minutes away but since this store is so nice I only shop here. Really friendly and awesome animals ? ? ?

Tammy and Brandon are the best from loading my car to helping figure out the difference between to brands of feed or even just letting me call and ask an abundance of question hands down the best feed store in the mountain communities. Thank you guys! AND TO KIM the store Descanso feee owns is bullseye feed alpine country feed is a independent family owned business.

Horrible service. Very rude and didn't even want to help answer my questions at all concerning my animals. Found a much better feed and supply store with better prices just right up the road by Shell has station.
