Back in only - So make it easy on yourself and come in off of RANDOLPH STREET. If you’re like me and are running a rig with a wheelbase longer than 280”, your challenges have just begun. Park on Randolph and walk down to check in, BEFORE you even attempt to pull down District Blvd. (trust me - it’s better to get a lay of the land). It was easiest for me to ride the fence line, and set up from there. If there’s cars parked there, (which as the progresses, there will be), backing in with a big rig will become increasingly more difficult. If the yard is full, the trucks / trailers in the doors will be about 6”-8” apart. And in the morning, their outbound trucks are parked along the property line that you’ll need to straighten your rig to get into the door. Bottom line - it’s tight. But it’s doable, if you take your time. Otherwise, they had me unloaded in 40 minutes.

Friendly people. Like everyone says, its tight. Limited overnight parking. Drive in from Randolph to avoid having to turn around. Call ahead of time because you might need an appointment. Guard on duty overnight. Check in at 5am. They start at 6am. They're fairly quick.

Pain in the rear to get into. The guard kept saying to back in a certain way, but if we had listened to him the tractor would have hit the yellow post just on the other side of the gate and guard house. You can not turn around on the property so you have to back in. The few parking spaces available are not all that big. 53 foot trailers could have issues especially if they have a sleeper berth in the tractor. Space for backing up to doors is also limited, making backing to them a challenge as well. This is all made worse by the fact that the employee parking is right inside the gate, which can also make getting out difficult. Add in the cars parked on the street and overall you have a nightmare that Freddy Krueger would be proud of.
